Abstract

Laporan ini akan menjelaskan selengkapnya tentang pola sebaran salinitas,
temperatur, dan arus perairan estuari sungai wonokromo, Surabaya. Perairan
estuari Sungai Wonokromo terletak di Kota Surabaya Provinsi Jawa Timur. Pada
perairan ini terdapat berbagai aktivitas seperti aktivitas pariwisata ekosistem
mangrove, sehingga merubah tatanan suatu lingkungannya. Estuary adalah tempat
pertemuan air tawar dan air asin yang di pengaruhi oleh pasang surut. Pengaruh
pasang surut terhadap sirkulasi aliran seperti kecepatan, profil muka air dan intrusi
air asin di estuari dapat sampai jauh ke hulu sungai tergantung pada tinggi pasang
surut. Cara mengetahui pola sebaran ketiga parameter tersebut dilakukan dengan
cara pengambilan beberapa sampel di daerah studi tersebut dengan elevasi yang
berbeda beda. Setelah mendapatkan beberapa sampel dengan 3 parameter tersebut
maka didapatkan jenis tipe di estuari sungai Wonokromo, Surabaya. Korelasi pola
sebaran Salinitas, Temperatur dan Arus adalah pada daerah muara di station 4
Temperatur 36,2 ⁰C , Salinitas 31,3 ‰ , dan Kecepatan Arus 0,14 m/s, sedangkan
untuk daerah sungai di station 2 Temperatur 33,2 ⁰C , Salinitas 7,7 ‰ , dan
Kecepatan Arus 0,39 m/s dan untuk salinitas di muara secara vertikal merata. Hal
ini bahwa tipe estuari sungai Wonokromo termasuk tipe well-mixed.

This report will explain more about the distribution pattern of salinity,
temperature, and flow of river estuary waters wonokromo, Surabaya. Wonokromo
River estuary waters located in Surabaya, East Java Province. On these waters
there are various activities such as mangrove ecosystems tourism activity, thus
changing the order of a surroundings. Estuary is the meeting place of fresh water
and salt water that is influenced by tides. The influence of the tides on the
circulation flow such as velocity, water surface profiles and saltwater intrusion in
estuaries can get far upstream depending on the height of the tides. How to
determine the distribution pattern of the three parameters is done by taking several
samples in the study area with the elevations is different. After getting some
samples with 3 parameters were then obtained types in Wonokromo river estuary,
Surabaya. Correlation distribution pattern Salinity, temperature and flow is the
estuary area at station 4 Temperature 36.2⁰C, Salinity 31.3 ‰, and current speed
of 0.14 m / s, while the area of the river at station 2 Temperature 33.2 ⁰C, salinity
7.7 ‰ and current speed of 0.39 m / s and for salinity in the estuary vertically
evenly. It is that type of river estuaries Wonokromo including the type of wellmixed.
