Abstract

Cuaca merupakan peristiwa fisik yang terjadi atau berlangsung di atmosfer pada suatu waktu dan tempat tertentu dalam jangka waktu pendek. Pengamatan cuaca tidak hanya dari permukaan bumi, akan tetapi diperlukan pula informasi kondisi vertical atmosfer bumi. Perihal pentingnya, kemudahan teknologi pengukuran parameter atmosfer, maka diperlukan suatu sistem yang dapat melakukan pemantauan terhadap profil atmosfer secara real time. Dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan perancangan sistem monitoring radio wind sounding. Sistem monitoring ini didesain untuk dapat menerima, menampilkan, serta menyimpan data hasil pengukuran kondisi vertical atmosfer bumi yang meliputi temperatur udara, tekanan udara, kelembaban udara, arah dan kecepatan angin dalam bentuk angka maupun grafik. Sistem monitoring ini menggunakan radio frequency yang digunakan untuk komunikasi data antara perangkat radio wind sounding dengan ground segment. Sistem monitoring yang dibuat dapat bekerja dengan baik yaitu keseluruhan komponen dapat melakukan perintah tanpa terjadinya error, serta memiliki rata-rata delay time pembacaan data yang sangat kecil sebesar 31/1000 milidetik dan berada dalam batas toleransi. Sistem monitoring dapat melakukan penyimpanan data secara kontinyu menggunakan database MySql dan menghasilkan report data cukup baik pada Microsoft Excel.

The weather is a physical event that occurs or takes place in the atmosphere at particular time and place in the short term. Weather observations not only from the surface of the earth, but also the information necessary condition of Earth's atmosphere vertical. Subject importance, ease of measurement technologies atmospheric parameters, we need a system that can monitor the atmospheric profiles in real time. In this study, conducted of designed radio wind sounding monitoring system. This monitoring system is designed to be able to receive, display, and store the measurement data of the earth's atmosphere vertical conditions that include air temperature, air pressure, humidity, wind speed and direction in the form of figures and graphs. This monitoring system using radio frequency used for data communication between radio devices wind soundings with ground segment. The monitoring system is made to work with both the overall component that can perform the command without error, and has an average delay time data is very small readings of 31/1000 milliseconds and are within tolerance limits. The monitoring system can perform continuous data storage using a MySQL database and generate report data is quite good in Microsoft Excel.
