Abstract

PLTU Rembang adalah Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap berkapasitas 2 x 315 MW yang dikelola oleh PT. PJB UBJOM yang merupakan anak perusahaan dari PT. PLN. Dalam memenuhi kebutuhan listrik terutama untuk konsumen di daerah Rembang dan Pati diharapkan PLTU Rembang bisa menjaga kualitas serta kontinuitas dalam hal menyuplai listrik. Namun jika terdapat transformator UAT (Unit Auxilliary Transformer) pada salah satu unit milik PLTU Rembang mati maka generator unit akan ikut mati sehingga menyebabkan berhentinya suplai listrik dari PLTU Rembang ke konsumen. Hal ini diakibatkan karena saat transformator UAT salah satu mati, transformator UAT yang lain tidak mampu memback-up beban dibawah transformator UAT yang mati tersebut. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil powerflow pada sistem kelistrikan eksisting dimana saat transformator UAT unit 2 mati, transformator UAT unit 1 bekerja di rating 95,54% dari rating. Hal ini bisa dikategorikan transformator bekerja di fase kritis pembebanan.
Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan beberapa opsi untuk mengatasi hal tersebut. Dalam tugas akhir ini diambil opsi yakni penambahan transformator SST (Station Service Transformer) yang di suplai dari jaringan interkoneksi PLN yang akan disalurkan ke masing-masing unit bus bar. Keuntungan dari opsi ini adalah tidak mengganggu operasional dari unit yang lain. Transformator SST yang ditambahkan memiliki rating daya 30 MVA dihitung berdasarkan dari penghitungan jumlah suplai daya ke beban di satu unit. Setelah dilakukan berbagai studi analisis seperti powerflow, starting motor, serta short circuit yang berguna untuk menentukan koordinasi proteksi didapatkan hasil bahwa penambahan transformator SST untuk dipasang dalam sistem kelistrikan di PLTU Rembang layak untuk dilakukan. ================================================================================================== Rembang Power Plant is a 2 x 315 MW Steam Power Plant operated by PT. PJB UBJOM which is a subsidiary of PT. PLN. In fulfilling the needs of electricity, especially for consumers in the area of Rembang and Pati expected Rembang power plant can maintain the quality and continuity in terms of supplying electricity. However, if there is a case where one of Unit Auxiliary Transformer (UAT) in Rembang power plant stopped working, the generator would stop working as well and that could lead to electricity termination. It would happen on account of the incapability of the other UATs to back up the load of the collapsed UAT. It is demonstrated as the power-flow showing the existing electricity was at 95.54% when UAT unit 2 collapsed. This evidence connotes that the transformers had worked at the critical phase of loading. This can be categorized as a transformer working in the critical phase of loading.
To overcome the problem that have been mentioned above, some options are needed. This study chooses one of the options that is to add transformer of SST (Servvice Station Transformer) supplied and transferred by PLN network interconnection to each busbar unit. The advantage of this option is that it does not interfere with the operations of the other units. The added SST transformer has a 30 MVA power rating measured regarding the power supply amount to one unit loading calculation. After a series of analytical studies such as powerflow, starting motor, and short circuit that is useful to determine the coordination of protection obtained result that the addition of SST transformer to be installed in the electrical system in Rembang power plant worth to do.
