Abstract

Permasalahan pada jaringan distribusi listrik dari hari ke hari semakin rumit, sehingga muncul permasalahan-permasalahan yang dibutuhkan solusi untuk mengatasinya. Terdapat dua permasalahan yang sering muncul, yaitu besarnya rugi-rugi daya dan rendahnya level tegangan. Salah satu solusi yang bisa digunakan adalah dengan memasang capacitor bank pada sistem. Namun, pemasangan capacitor bank juga harus tepat lokasi dan kapasitasnya agar tidak muncul permasalahan lainnya. Pada penelitian Tugas Akhir ini, digunakan sebuah metode yaitu Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II (NSGA-II) berbasis Decision Support System (DSS) guna mendapatkan lokasi dan kapasitas yang optimal dalam meletakkan capacitor bank. Dengan menentukan lokasi dan kapasitas capacitor bank nilai rugi-rugi daya berkurang hingga mencapai nilai 150.180334 kW pada pemasangan tiga buah capacitor bank pada sistem distribusi radial IEEE 33 bus yang memiliki nilai rugi-rugi daya aktif awal sebesar 202.7 kW. Sedangkan nilai deviasi tegangan berkurang menjadi 2.952549 dari nilai awal sebesar 11.712585 untuk pemasangan capacitor bank dengan jumlah yang sama.

Nowadays, the problems of electrical distribution system have become more complicated and need solution to solve the problems. There are two problems that often appear, high value of losses and low voltage level.one of the solutions that can be used is by installing capacitor bank in the system. However, the installation of capacitor bank needs precise location and value of capacity, so it will not make another problems. In this final project, Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II (NSGA-II) method is used based on Decision Support System (DSS) to find the optimal location and capacity of capacitor bank. By determining the location and capacity of capacitor bank, the losses is decreased to 150.180334 kW when three capacitor banks are installed in IEEE 33 bus radial distribution system which has 202.7 kW initial losses. At the same time, the voltage deviation is decreased to 2.952549 from the initial value 11.712585 for the same amount of installed capacitor banks.
