Abstract

Minyak kelapa sawit atau yang lebih dikenal dengan palm oil diperoleh dari berbagai macam proses pengolahan. Mulai dari proses penerimaan buah sawit hingga proses pemurnian minyak kelapa sawit. Dahulu crude palm oil process (proses pengolahan minyak kelapa sawit) dilakukan manual menggunakan tenaga manusia. Seiring dengan berkembangnya teknologi, crude palm oil process telah dikendalikan menggunakan Programmable Logic Control (PLC). Hal ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil produksi minyak kelapa sawit. Tujuan konstruksi diagram ladder dengan metode cascade adalah membuat ladder dengan cepat agar pengolahan kelapa sawit mendapatkan banyak keuntungan. Dari hasil perancangan diagram ladder maka didapatkan jumlah rung 250 akibat dari banyaknya relay yang ada. Ukuran program yang dibuat adalah 30kb. Timer yang digunakan ada 11 timer. Dalam program ini input dan output sebanyak 78. Relay sebanyak 1000. Dengan banyaknya rung maka program berjalan lebih lambat dalam berproses. Dan dengan banyaknya relay maka butuh biaya yang besar dalam pembuatan pabriknya. ====================================================================================================== Palm oil or better known as palm oil is derived from a variety of processing processes. Starting from the process of receiving palm fruit to the refining process of palm oil. Formerly crude palm oil process done manually using human power. Along with the development of technology, the crude palm oil process has been controlled using Programmable Logic Control (PLC). This is done to improve the yield of palm oil production. The purpose of ladder diagram construction by cascade method is to make ladder fast for palm oil processing to gain many benefits. From the design of the ladder diagram, we get the number of rung 250 due to the number of relays available. The size of the program created is 30kb. The timer used is 11 timers. In this program input and output as much as 78. Relay as much as 1000. With many rung then program run slower in process. And with many relays it will cost a lot in making the factory.
