Abstract

Kawasan Terminal Joyoboyo merupakan kawasan strategis yang saat ini telah dilayani oleh dua (2) moda transportasi umum, yaitu bus dan lyn. Berdasarkan RDTRK UP. Wonokromo tahun 2017, kawasan ini diarahkan sebagai hub antara Surotram dan Boyorail sebagai Angkutan Massal Cepat (AMC). TOD dan node-place merupakan konsep yang mengintegrasikan antara titik transit dan kawasan di sekitarnya. Namun, penerapan konsep TOD belum tercermin pada kawasan ini, sehingga belum tercipta keseimbangan antara node dan place. Maka diperlukan arahan pengembangan kawasan TOD berdasarkan konsep node-place model, dan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan peran kawasan TOD Terminal Joyoboyo sebagai kawasan berbasis node-place model.
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan identifikasi karakteristik kawasan berdasarkan kriteria dan parameter TOD serta node-place model. Teknik analisis weighted multi criteria analysis digunakan untuk mengetahui tingkat keseimbangan antara node dan place index. Kemudian dirumuskan arahan pengembangan kawasan TOD Terminal Joyoboyo, Surabaya berbasiskan konsep node-place model.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kawasan transit joyoboyo masuk kedalam kategori unsustained place. Hal ini dikarenakan node index sebesar 0,48, sedangkan place index sebesar 0,64. Maka dari itu arahan pengembangan untuk menaikkan node index adalah dengan mengadakan jalur pedestrian di seluruh kawasan penelitian, yang kemudian juga akan menaikkan nilai konektivitas jalur pedestrian tersebut. Untuk menurunkan place index, arahan pengembangan dilakukan dengan menaikkan ketinggian bangunan, serta merubah luas penggunaan lahan wilayah penelitian, yang kemudian juga akan berpengaruh ke variabel lainnya. ========================================================
Terminal Joyoboyo area has been served by two modes of public transportation: bus and lyn. Based on RDTRK UP. Wonokromo 2017, this area is the hub of Surotram and Boyorail, a mass public transportation or known as Angkutan Massal Cepat (AMC). TOD and node place model aim to integrate the transit point (node) and its surrounding area (place). However, there was little to know how much the integration of land use as place and transportation as node has been reflected in the area. Therefore, this reseach aims to evaluate the transport-land use integration or balance of node and place aspect of the TOD to enhance the role of Terminal Joyoboyo as a TOD area.
The methods consisted of identification the area characteristics based on TOD and node-place model criteria and parameter. Weighted multi criteria analysis by fuzzy index was used to evaluate the balance of node and place. Formulation of TOD’s improvement of Terminal Joyoboyo was referred to the results evaluated from the node-place model.
This research found that Joyoboyo transit area defined as unsustained place category in which the node index was 0,48, while the place index was 0,64. Therefore, the improvements suggested to increase the pedestrian path connectivity index and to increase the height of the building and change the type of landuse in the area, which reflected a more balance node-place.
