Abstract

Penelitian terdahulu telah berhasil mendesain pengendali
Type 2 Fuzzy Sliding Mode Control (T2FSMC) untuk mengontrol posisi panel surya terhadap matahari. Namun didalamnya masih terdapat kekurangan, yaitu pada proses trial and error dalam menentukan fungsi keanggotaan, sehingga diperlukan pengembangan metode optimasi pada sistem kontrol
posisi T2FSMC sebelumnya. Pada Tugas Akhir ini dirancang kembali pengendali T2FSMC dengan penambahan optimasi pada fungsi keanggotaan menggunakan Algoritma Kunang-kunang. Dengan prinsip kerja, menggeser titik tengah dari masing-masing fungsi keanggotaan. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa T2FSMC Firefly mempunyai performa yang lebih baik dari T2FSMC. T2FSMC Firefly menunjukkan peningkatan performa pada rise time sebesar 3.87%, settling time sebesar 34.51%, dan Penurunan nilai Integral Time Absolute Error (ITAE)sebesar 2.54%.

Solar panel is a device, that is used to convert solar energy into electricity. There is a solar tracker inside the solar panel. To control the solar panel tracker, so the movement will always be perpendicular with the sun movement. In previous researches shows that they managed to design Type 2 Fuzzy Sliding Mode Control (T2FSMC) Controller to control the solar panel position based on the sun position. But there is still have deficiency on the trial and error process to define membership function, so that it needs development in optimizing method on the previous T2FSMC position control system. In this Final Project, it will re-design T2FSMC controller with added optimize in membership function using firefly algorithm. The T2FSMC Firefly will move the center point of each membership function. Simulation result, shows that T2FSMC Firefly has better performance than T2FSMC.
T2FSMC Firefly shows developed performance on rise time by 3.87%, settling time by 34.51%, and the Integral Time Absolute Error (ITAE) by 2.54%.
