Abstract

Pengaruh Teknologi Informasi dalam persoalan lingkungan, memiliki dua sisi mata pisau. Pada satu sisi, penggunaan Teknologi Informasi merupakan salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi persoalan lingkungan. Pada sisi yang lain, TI memiliki dampak negatif yaitu turut serta dalam menyebabkan terjadinya global warming yang saat ini telah menjadi isu penting yang dihadapi oleh beberapa Negara termasuk Indonesia. Green Computing / Teknologi Informasi dicetuskan sebagai sebuah solusi untuk menyikapi pemakaian Teknologi Informasi secara bijak, dengan memperhatikan aspek keramahan lingkungan. Green Computing/Teknologi Informasi merupakan inisiatif, strategi, dan program pemanfaatan sumber daya komputasi dan infrastuktur terkait secara efektif dan efisien yang secara langung atau tidak langsung dapat mengatasi dampat buruk Teknologi Informasi bagi lingkungan. Sebelum mengadopsi Green IT, sangat penting untuk menetapkan tingkat kesiapan Green IT organisasi, mengi Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari budaya organisasi terhadap kelima komponen Green IT Readiness yaitu attitude (sikap) , policy (kebijakan), practice (praktek) , technology (teknologi), governance (tata kelola). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi kasus tunggal, dan yang menjadi objek penelitian adalah perusahaan Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember Surabaya Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Budaya Involvement, Consistency, Adaptability, Mission mempengaruhi attitude (sikap) , policy (kebijakan), practice (praktek) , technology (teknologi), governance (tata kelola). ====================================================================================================== The influence of IT in environmental problem is like the two side of the knive. At one side the usage of IT is represent the solution to overcome environmental problem. In other side, IT have negative impact that causing a global warming which becoming an important issue that encounter many countries including Indonesia. Green computing/ Green IT triggered as a solution for the attitude to using IT wisely, by paying more attention to sociability aspect of environment. Green computing/ Green IT represent initiative, strategy, and exploiting program of computing resources, and infrastucture related effectively and efficient which are direct or indirectly can overcame the negative impact of IT in environment. Before adapting Green IT, it very important to specify the readiness level of Green IT organization, informing of which division in organization to begin with and which division needing more attention. During time the measurement of Green IT readiness using G-readiness Molla framework. This Framework have five important dimension as key success of implementation of green IT, that is attitude, policy, practice, technology and governance. But this framework do not consider the existence of cultural influence of organization at adoption of Green IT, meanwhile culture is believed by researcher as a key factor in the succession at adoption of Green IT. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of culture organization to fifth component of Green IT Readiness that is attitude, policy, practice, technology and governance. This research use qualitative approach base on single case study, and the object of this research is Sepuluh November Institute of Technology, Surabaya. The result of this research find that Culture of Involvement, Consistency, Adaptability, Mission influence the fifth element of Green IT readiness, attitude, policy, practice, technology, governance.
