Abstract

Beton prategang merupakan teknologi konstruksi beton yang mengkombinasikan beton mutu tinggi dengan dengan baja mutu tinggi,, dengan cara menarik baja tersebut dan menahannya ke beton, sehingga membuat beton dalam keadaan tertekan. Kemampuan beton dalam menahan tarikan diperbaiki dengan memberikan tekanan, sementara kemampuannya menahan tekanan tidak dikurangi. Sehingga, beton prategang merupakan kombinasi yang ideal dari dua buah bahan modern yang berkekuatan tinggi. Kebutuhan ruangan yang luas tanpa kolom di tengah ruangan serta panjang bentang yang jauh pada gedung Life Style Hotel Surabaya,, maka elemen struktur yang pada awalnya menggunakan balok beton bertulang biasa diganti menggunakan beton pratekan.
Dalam Studi ini penulis membandingkan penggunaan tiga jenis peraturan yaitu SNI 2847-2002, SNI 2847-2013, dan ACI 318M-14. Studi ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan peraturan yang paling efisien untuk merencanakan gedung menggunakan balok beton prategang.

Prestressed concrete is a concrete construction technology
that combines high quality concrete with high-quality steel, by
pulling the steel and holding it to concrete, thus making the
concrete in a stressed state. The ability of concrete to withstand tug
is improved by applying pressure, while its ability to withstand the
pressure is not reduced. Thus, prestressing concrete is an ideal
combination of two high-powered modern materials. The need for
a spacious room with no columns in the middle of the room as well
as the long span that far away in Life Style Hotel Surabaya, then
the structural elements that initially use reinforced concrete beams
are replaced by using prestressed concrete.
In this study, the authors compare the use of three types of
regulations named SNI 2847-2002, SNI 2847-2013, and ACI
318M-14. This study was conducted to obtain the most efficient
regulation to design the building using prestressed concrete
beams.
