Abstract

With many pipelines being built, it is also possible that a pipeline will cross another pipeline. Crossing pipes between existing and new pipes can be avoided by creating new pipeline routes. The creation of a new pipeline may cost an additional and time. If the new pipeline is determined to pass through the existing pipeline, then the risk must be analyzed as it will affect the existing pipeline and also the new pipe.
The analysis should be observed that the two crossed pipes remain in safe condition. The prescribed safe criterion is the vertical mininum distance between the crossed pipes. The specified vertical minimum distance is 0.3 meters (DNV OS-F101). For that we need to analyze the support on the crossing that occurred. After analysis, pipes and support at the crossing site meet the specified safety factor and clearance with the existing line of 538.05 mm at support with 1200 m and 354.8 mm height at support with high 600 mm also still fulfilled.
