Abstract

Kota Surabaya dengan jumlah penduduk sebesar 2,853,661 jiwa per tahun 2014 merupakan kota terbesar kedua di Indonesia setelah kota Jakarta. Dengan banyaknya penduduk tersebut, Kota Surabaya memiliki banyak pengalaman dalam mengatasi permasalahan pedagang kaki lima (PKL) yang setiap tahunnya terus bertambah. Usaha yang sudah dilakukan oleh Pemerintah Kota Surabaya terhadap penataan PKL ialah penetapan jam operasional dan lokasi PKL pada tahun 2005 hingga pada 2008 Pemerintah Kota Surabaya mulai membangun sentra PKL atau sentra wisata kuliner.

Namun, dalam pelaksanaan ditemukan beberapa permasalahan yang terjadi pada sentra wisata kuliner. Pada 2016, Kepala Dinkop UMKM Surabaya mengakui masih banyak sentra wisata kuliner yang mati suri. Salah satunya ialah Sentra Wisata Kuliner Semolowaru. Sentra ini memiliki luas yang sangat besar yaitu 3,500 m2. Sentra ini berada di lokasi yang strategis, yaitu selain berada di seberang kantor kelurahan Semolowaru, bagian depan dari sentra ini ramai dilewati kendaraan yang datang dari daerah Nginden, Klampis, dan Manyar menuju Jalan Dr. IR. H. Soekarno atau dikenal dengan MERR. Selain itu, pada Kecamatan Sukolilo, terdapat 10 universitas di sekitar Sentra Wisata Kuliner Semolowaru.

Pemanfaatan lahan besar dari Sentra Wisata Kuliner Semolowaru belumlah optimal. Berdasarkan metodologi dan analisa yang dilakukan, hasil yang diperoleh berupa konsep perencanaan DESAIN INTERIOR SENTRA WISATA KULINER SEMOLOWARU SEBAGAI COLLABORATIVE SPACE. Konsep ini diharapkan dapat membuat perubahan positif sehingga dapat menarik minat masyarakat Kota Surabaya dan menaikkan kesejahteraan perekonomian penjual.

However, in the implementation found some problems that occur in culinary tourism centers. In 2016, Head of Dinkop UMKM Surabaya admits there are still many culinary tourism centers that are suspended. One of them is Semolowaru Culinary Tourism Centre. This center has a very large area of 3,500 m2. This center is located in a strategic location, in addition to being opposite the office of Semolowaru urban village, the front of this center is crowded by vehicles coming from Nginden, Klampis and Manyar to Dr. IR. H. Soekarno or known as MERR. In addition, in District Sukolilo, there are 10 universities around Semolowaru Culinary Tourism Center.

Utilization of large land from Semolowaru culinary tourism centre not yet optimal. Based on the methodology and analysis, the results obtained in the form of planning concepts THE INTERIOR DESIGN OF SEMOLOWARU CULINARY TOURISM CENTRE AS A COLLABORATIVE SPACE. This concept is expected to make a positive change so can attract the interest of the people of Surabaya and increase the prosperity of the seller's economy.
