Abstract

Waduk Bendo yang berada di Dusun Bendo, Desa Ngindeng, Kecamatan Sawoo, Kabupaten Ponorogo, Jawa Timur dibangun pemerintah dengan fungsi pengembangan jaringan irigasi di daerah setempat, kebutuhan air baku dan pengendali banjir. Waduk ini dibangun dengan periode ulang 1000 tahun, oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan analisa sedimen. Tanpa memperhitungkan kecepatan aliran dan penyebaran sedimen yang terjadi pada waduk, mengakibatkan perubahan dasar waduk dan pendangkalan dasar waduk. Berdasarkan analisa terdahulu dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa Waduk Bendo akan mengalami pengurangan kapasitas sekitar 22.4% setelah waduk dioperasikan selama 29 tahun serta berkurang sekitar 40% setelah waduk dioperasikan selama 55 tahun. Untuk menganalisa sedimen tersebut digunakan metode bed load transport, suspended sediment transport, threshold of sediment, critical shields parameter dan settling velocity. Hasil dari perhitungan analisa ini adalah distribusi dan kecepatan sedimen serta penggambaran perubahan dasar waduk.

Bendo reservoir is located in Dusun Bendo, Desa Ngindeng Kecamatan Sawoo, Kabupaten Ponorogo, Jawa Timur has built by government to develop irrigation network, water need and flood control. This reservoir has built with 1000-years frequent period. Therefore need to analyze the sediment. Without knowing flow velocity and sediment spreading in reservoir can cause changing and silting of base reservoir. Based on analyze which has been done, known that Bendo Reservoir capacity will reduce about 22.4% after reservoir 29 years operate and 40% after reservoir 55 years operate. To analyze sediment, used bed load transport, suspended sediment transport,threshold of sediment critical shields parameter and settling velocity methods. The result of analyze is distribution, sedimentation velocity and bed reservoir modification.
