Abstract

Mini plant steam engine merupakan alat yang dapat menghasilkan uap melalui proses pembakaran di dalam boiler, uap tersebut nantinya akan digunakan untuk menggerakan steam generator. Untuk membuat steam generator berputar tekanan uap yang dihasilkan harus di kontrol. Maka perlu suatu sistem pengendalian terhadap variabel tersebut. Dilakukan pembuatan tugas akhir ini mengenai pengendalian tekanan uap boiler pada mini plant steam engine untuk pembangkit listrik tenaga uap. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan metode pengendalian fuzzy. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu mikrokontroler atmega 32, final control element berupa motor operating valve dan pressure trasmitter 500psi. Dari hasil pengambilan data tugas akhir ini, dilakukan uji sensor pada pressure transmitter dan pembacaan Pressure Transmitter pada sistem. Set point pressure yang diinginkan yaitu 200 Kpa untuk batas maksimal operational plant. Dari uji plant yang telah dilakukan dengan set point 100 Kpa di dapatkan nilai rise time 700 detik, peak time 740 detik, dan settling time 720 detik

Mini plant steam engine is a tool that can generate steam through the combustion process in the boiler, the steam will be used to drive the steam generator. To make the steam generator rotate the steam pressure generated must be controlled. Then it needs a control system for these variables. This final project is carried out regarding steam boiler pressure control at the mini plant steam engine for steam power plants. The method used is with the method of fuzzy control. Instruments used are atmega 32 as microcontroller, final control element in the form of motor operating valve and pressure trasmitter 500psi. From the results of data collection of this final project, the sensor is tested on the pressure transmitter and the reading of the Pressure Transmitter on the system. The desired set point pressure is 200 Kpa for the maximum operational plant. From the test plant that has been done with a set point 100 Kpa in 700 seconds rise time value, peak time 740 seconds, and settling time 720 seconds.
