Abstract

PT. Meshindo Alloy Wheel adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam produksi alloy wheel, dimana proses terbagi menjadi tiga departemen yaitu Casting, Computerize Numerical Control (CNC) dan painting. Departemen CNC merupakan bagian terpenting dalam proses produksi alloy wheel untuk menentukan detail dan estetika alloy wheel, oleh karena itu proses produksinya memerlukan waktu yang lebih lama daripada departemen lainya, sehingga apabila terjadi keterlambatan dalam pengiriman barang kepada konsumen dikarenakan proses pada departemen CNC belum selesai. Proses pada departemen CNC tidak dapat dipastikan selesainya karena perusahaan belum menentukan waktu standar untuk menyelesaikan satu produk, oleh karena itu dalam penelitian ini akan dihitung waktu standar untuk pembuatan alloy wheel dengan menggunakan metode jam henti. Hasil penelitian didapatkan kesimpulan, bahwa waktu standar yang diperlukan untuk memproduksi satu velg alumunium dengan waktu kelonggaran 12,5% sebesar 30,2 menit dengan rincian, pada proses Sublasting memerlukan waktu 4,0 menit, proses CNC1 sebesar 8,1 menit, proses CNC2 sebesar 4,1 menit, proses Machining Center sebesar 7,2 menit, proses Balancing sebesar 3,2 menit dan proses LeakageTest sebesar 3,6 menit.==============================================================================PT. Meshindo Alloy Wheel is a company engaged in the production of alloy wheel, where the process is divided into three departments namely Casting, Computerize Numerical Control (CNC) and painting. CNC department is the most important part in the alloy wheel production process to determine the detail and aesthetics of alloy wheel, therefore the production process takes longer than other departments, so that in case of delay in delivery of goods to the consumer because the process on the CNC department has not been completed. The process of the CNC department can not be ascertained since the company has not set a benchmark for the completion of one product, therefore in this research will be determined the standard time for the manufacture of alloy wheel by using the clock method. From the result of the research, it is concluded that the standard time required to produce an aluminum alloy with 12.5% leeway time of 30.2 minutes with details, in Sublasting process takes 4.0 minutes, CNC1 process of 8.1 minutes, CNC2 process for 4.1 minutes, Machining Center process of 7.2 minutes, Balancing process of 3.2 minutes and LeakageTest process of 3.6 minutes.
