Abstract

Bahan bakar solar digunakan pada mesin diesel. Dalam penyimpanannya solar dapat terkontaminasi oleh kotoran. Baik kotoran padatan maupun kecil berupa alga maupun jamur. Untuk itu digunakan fuel filter yang berfungsi menyaring kotoran tersebut. Penyaringan dilakukan dengan tambahan sistem magnetik yang membantu kerja filter dalam menyaring kotoran kecil. Pada motor didapat putaran 2900 rpm sedangkan mesin penyaring solar membutuhkan putaran 1400 rpm. Oleh karena itu dibuat Perencanaan Sistem Transmisi Mesin Penyaring Solar Berkapasitas 1 l/m dengan Sistem Magnetik sebagai judul Tugas Akhir.
Untuk merencanakan mesin tersebut dilakukan survei mengenai mesin penyaring solar, dilanjutkan dengan perencanaan gambar desain, perhitungan untuk sistem transmisi, pengadaan komponen, perakitan, hingga pengujian alat tersebut.
Hasil dari perencanaan ini yaitu desain dan mesin penyaring solar dengan sistem magnetik. Gaya sebesar 3,3 kgf dengan torsi 41,91 kgf sehingga dayanya adalah 124,78 Watt atau 0,124 kW. Perhitungan perencanaan sistem transmisi yaitu belt type A, poros dengan bahan ST42 memiliki diameter 15 mm, dan bearing gelinding type single row ball bearing B dengan prediksi umur 377919726,3 hari dan bearing C yaitu 3003885,53 hari. Dengan daya yang dibutuhkan pompa yaitu 268,051 Watt. Serta dengan volume 1 liter mesin penyaring solar rata-rata membutuhkan waktu 3 menit 30,51 detik dalam 3 kali siklusnya.

Diesel fuel used on diesel engines. In the storage of diesel can be contaminated by dirt. Both solid and small impurities are algae or mushroom. For that used fuel filter that serves to filter the dirt. Filtering can be done with the addition of a magnetic system that can help the filter work in filtering out small impurities. On the motorbike is obtained 2400 rpm rotation while the diesel filter engine requires a slow rotation of 1400 rpm. Therefore a Planning Transmission System of Solar Filter Machine Capacity 1 l/min with Magnetic System was made as the title of the Final Project.
To plan the machine, a survey was conducted on a solar filter machine, followed by design drawing planning, calculations for transmission systems, component procurement, assembly, and testing of the equipment.
The results of this design are the design and engine of the solar filter with a magnetic system. The force of 3.3 kgf with torque of 41.91 kgf so the power is 124.78 Watt or 0.124 kW. Calculation of transmission system planning is belt type A, shaft with material ST42 has diameter 15 mm, and bearing gelinding type single row ball bearing B with prediction age 377919726,3 day and bearing C that is 3003885,53 day. The power of the pump is 268,051 Watt. And with a volume of 1 liter of diesel filtering machine, it takes an average of 3 minutes 30,51 seconds in 3 cycles.
