Abstract

Irigasi merupakan upaya yang dilakukan manusia untuk mengairi lahan pertanian. Dalam sistem irigasi terdapat beberapa hal yang harus dilakukan yaitu salah satunya pengumpulan data meliputi data debit, data curah hujan data luas tanam, dan lainnya yang berguna untuk perencanaan penyedian, pembagian dan pemberian air tahunan. Namun akibat luasnya lahan pertanian serta kondisi cuaca yang ekstrim kadang pencatatan tersebut tidak dapat dilakukan sehingga tidak mendapatkan data yang akurat. Untuk itu pada Tugas Akhir ini dikembangkan suatu perangkat yang berfungsi untuk mencatat level ketinggian, kedalaman dan kecepatan air pada saluran irigasi berbasis Internet of Things menggunakan teknologi LoRa (Long Range) sehingga memungkinkan untuk melakukan pencatatan jarak jauh untuk data level ketinggian dan kecepatan air saluran irigasi. Setelah dilakukan pengujian, didapatkan kombinasi variabel terbaik untuk pengiriman data antara perangkat endpoint dan perangkat gateway adalah 13 (txpower), 8 (spreading factor ) dan 31.200 (bandwidth) serta interval pengiriman data ke database sebesar 1,576 menit. Dengan perangkat ini, petugas irigasi akan lebih mudah untuk mengukur ketinggian air, kedalaman air, dan kecepatan air saluran irigasi.

In the irrigation system, there are several things that must be done, one of them is data collection including debit data, rainfall data,
planting area data, and other data which is useful for annual water supply, distribution and irrigation. However, due to the extent of agricultural land and extreme weather conditions that sometimes the record can not be done so the accurate data can not be achieved. Therefore, this Final Project intends to develope a device functioning to record the level of altitude, depth and water velocity on the irrigation channel based on Internet of Things using technology LoRa (Long Range) so it is possible to perform long distance recording for data level of altitude and speed of irrigation water channel. After testing, the best variable combination for data transmission between the endpoint device and the gateway device is 13 (txpower), 8 (spreading factor) and 31.200 (bandwidth) and the data transmission interval to the database of 1,576 minutes. With this device, irrigation o�cers will be easier to measure the water level, water
depth, and speed of irrigation water channel.
