Abstract

Indonesia merupakan salah satu penghasil kelapa terbesar di dunia, Sebagian besar bagian kelapa diantaranya bunga, batang, daun, buah, bahkan akarnya pun dapat dimanfaatkan. Namun terdapat limbah yang kurang dimanfaatkan, salah satunya tempurung kelapa. Tempurung kelapa memiliki lapisan keras dengan ketebalan sekitar 3-5 mm. Tempurung kelapa tua yang telah mengalami proses karbonisasi pada suhu 4000C mempunyai ikatan molekul utama dari grafena yaitu C=C dan C-C. Selain itu juga mengandung banyak ikatan impuritas seperti C-H, C-O, C=O dan O-H yang mengindikasikan adanya fasa reduced graphene oxideng terdiri dari lignin, selulosa, metoksil, dan berbagai mineral. Fasa rGO terbentuk pada serbuk arang tempurung kelapa tua pada atmosfer pembakaran udara sekitar dan pemanasan suhu 400ºC dalam ketiga variasi waktu penahanan 3 jam, 4 jam, dan 5 jam. Dan dengan konsentrasi 5 gram, 10 gram, dan 15 gram. penelitian lebih lanjut tentang rGO menggunakan serbuk arang tempurung kelapa yang telah diubah menjadi larutan dengan campuran aquades. ========================================================= Indonesia is one of the largest coconut producers in the world. Most of the coconut, such as flowers, stems, leaves, fruits, even roots can be utilized. But there is waste that is not utilized, one coconut shell. The coconut shell has a hard layer with a thickness of about 3-5 mm. The old coconut shell that has undergone carbonization process at 4000C has the main molecular bond of graphene that is C = C and C-C. It also contains many implantable bonds such as C-H, C-O, C = O and O-H which indicate a reduced graphene oxideng phase comprising lignin, cellulose, methoxyl, and various minerals. The rGO phase is formed on the old coconut shell charcoal powder in the atmosphere of the surrounding air combustion and heating temperature of 400ºC in the three variations of 3 hours, 4 hours and 5 hours containment time. And with concentrations of 5 grams, 10 grams, and 15 grams. Further research on rGO uses coconut shell charcoal powder that has been converted into aqueous solution with mixture of aquades.
