Abstract

Kinetik Flywheel Conversion generasi kedua (KFC 2) merupakan alat yang dipasang di Terminal BBM Surabaya Group – Pertamina Perak untuk memenuhi kebutuhan listrik guna menerangi beberapa area pada malam hari. Cara kerja alat ini adalah dengan memanfaatkan energy pada ban mobil tangki yang melewati pijakan dari KFC 2 ini lalu menyebabkan gerak translasi pada connecting rod dan kemudian diubah menjadi gerak rotasi oleh sistem transmisi, sehingga mampu memutar flywheel sebagai alat untuk menstabilkan putaran lalu diteruskan untuk memutar alternator yang kemudian menghasilkan listrik untuk mengisi aki sehingga dapat digunakan untuk penerangan. Pada tugas akhir ini didapatkan pengukuran rpm alternator serta perhitungan efisiensi flywheel, efisiensi alat, tipe belt, panjang belt dan umur belt. Pada perhitungan ini, didapatkan daya keluaran alternator 47,94 watt, efisiensi alat 3,09%, efisiensi flywheel 1,22%, tipe belt C, panjang belt 1800mm serta didapatkan prediksi umur belt pada transmisi pertama, kedua dan ketiga berturut turut adalah 12696,60 jam, 7527,31 jam dan 38749,6 jam ============================================================The second generation Kinetic Flywheel Conversion (KFC 2) is a tool installed in the BBM Terminal of Surabaya Group - Pertamina Perak to meet the electricity needs to illuminate some areas at night. The workings of this tool is to utilize energy in pertamina truck tires that pass through the footing of KFC 2 and then cause translational motion on the connecting rod and then converted into rotation motion by the transmission system, so as to rotate the flywheel as a tool to stabilize the rotation and then forwarded to rotate the alternator which then generates electricity to charge the battery so it can be used for lighting. In this final project, we get alternator rpm measurement and flywheel efficiency calculation, total efficiency, belt type, belt length and belt life. In this calculation, the output power of the alternator is 47.94 watt, the total efficiency is 3.09%, the efficiency of flywheel is 1.22%, the type of belt C, 1800mm belt length and the prediction of the belt life in the first, second and third transmission respectively is 12696,60 hours , 7527,31hours and 38749.6 hours
