Abstract
Provinsi Jawa Timur memiliki jumlah penduduk yang semakin meningkatnya dari tahun ke tahun, sehingga pemerintah melalui Badan Koordinasi Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) mencanangkan berbagai program dalam mengatasi masalah kependudukan, salah satunya adalah program Keluarga Berencana (KB). Persentase peserta KB aktif di Jawa Timur masih sangat rendah dan belum sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan KB Nasional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui karakteristik dan kecenderungan peserta KB aktif di Kabu-paten/Kota di Jawa Timur terhadap alat kontrasepsi dengan menggunakan analisis statistika deskriptif dan analisis korespondensi yang menghasilkan kesimpulan alat kontrasepsi yang paling banyak digunakan adalah implant dan yang paling sedikit MOW. Peserta KB aktif di kabupaten Pacitan dan Ponorogo cenderung memilih alat kon-trasepsi IUD sedangkan di kabupaten Sumenep, Pamekasan, Bangkalan, serta Pasuruan cenderung terhadap alat kontrasepsi Implant. Kemudian peserta KB aktif di Kabupaten Jember dan Situbondo cenderung mem-ilih cara Pil, sedangkan di kabupaten Tuban cenderung untuk memilih alat kontrasepsi berupa Suntik. Selain itu, pola kecenderungan peserta KB aktif di kabupaten Surabaya dan Probolinggo cenderung untuk memilih alat kontrasepsi MOW. Total keragaman yang dapat dijelaskan dari ketiga dimensi sebesar 85,1%. =================================================================================================== East Java Province has a population that is increasing from year to year, so the government through the National Family Planning Coor-dinating Board (BKKBN) launched various programs in addressing population issues, one of which is a program of Family Planning (FP). The percentage of active family planning participants in East Java is still very low and not in accordance with the National Family Planning indicators of success. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics and trends of FP active participant in regencies / cities in East Java against contraception by using descriptive statistical analy-sis and correspondence analysis that lead to the conclusion that contra-ception is the most widely used implant and the least MOW. FP active participant in Pacitan and Ponorogo tend to choose the contraceptive IUD while in Sumenep, Pamekasan, Bangkalan, and Pasuruan tend to contraceptive implant. Then the planning participants active in Jember and Situbondo tend to choose how the pill, whereas in Tuban district tend to choose the form of Injectable contraceptives. Moreover, the pat-tern of active family planning participants tendency in Surabaya and Probolinggo districts tend to choose contraception MOW. The total di-versity can be explained from the three dimensions of 85.1%.
