Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis proses manufaktur panel instrumen tank dengan menggunakan material akustik polyester dan fiberglass. Permasalahan yang dikaji pada proses manufaktur panel instrumen tank menggunakan simulasi dan mengkaji pengaruh pengunaan material komposit ini terhadap koefisien absorpsi suara. Dari hasil penelitian, dan analisis data dapat diketahui bahwa pengaruh komposit polyester resin dengan fiberglass terhadap penyerapan suara dapat ditunjukkan pada komposisi prosentasi material komposit tersebut. Dengan komposisi beberapa variabel menghasilkan performansi paling baik ternyata pada komposit dengan komposisi 70% polyester resin : 30% fiberglass. Demikian juga, terhadap proses manufaktur secara umum komposit polyester resin dengan fiberglass memberikan gambaran performansi bahwa komposit ini memiliki karakteristik yang masuk dalam standar ISO untuk penyerapan suara yang terkait dengan akustik dan juga parameter densitas komposit ini menghasilkan densitas lebih baik untuk komposit 70% matriks polyester resin, sehingga secara keseluruhan komposit ini lebih sesuai untuk kebutuhan manufaktur panel instrumen. =============================================================================================== This research was conducted to analyze the process of manufacturing tank panel instrument by using polyester and fiberglass acoustic material. The problems studied in the process of manufacturing tank panel instrument using prototype simulation and the effect of using fiberglass composite material with polyester resin matrix to sound absorption coefficient. Based on research result and discussion data, it can be seen that the influence of polyester resin composite with fiberglass to sound absorption as acoustic base can be shown in the composition of the composite material presentation. With the composition of several variables yielding the best performance turns on a composite with a composition of 70% polyester resin: 30% fiberglass. Likewise, the general manufacturing process of polyester resin composites with fiberglass provides an illustration of the performance that this composite possesses the characteristics included in the ISO standard for acoustic-related sound absorption and also this composite density parameter yields better density for the 70% composite polyester resin matrix, so overall this composite is more suitable for instrument panel needs.
