Abstract

Saat ini, transportasi di Indonesia banyak mengalami perkembangan. Hal tersebut didorong oleh faktor perkembangan teknologi transportasi dunia. Salah satu transportasi darat yang handal dari segi keamanan dan ketepatan waktu adalah moda transportasi kereta api. Saat ini, kendala yang dihadapi industri kereta api yaitu terdapat keterlambatan pengiriman produk, serta adanya produk yang cacat. Kedua hal tersebut berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kepuasan customer. Untuk dapat menangani kendala tersebut, perlu diterapkan pendekatan yang mengintegrasikan antara metode seven tools of quality control, lean thinking serta manajemen risiko. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data menggunakan ketiga metode tersebut, dapat diketahui bahwa pada proses incoming material memiliki jumlah defect sebanyak 15.553 komponen dan frekuensi waste sebanyak 1.189, serta waste dengan tingkat risiko tertinggi. Maka dari itu, karena proses incoming material sangat erat kaitannya dengan supplier, perlu adanya perbaikan koordinasi dengan supplier, serta melakukan inspeksi material secara rutin dengan supplier. =============================================================================================== Transportation provides solution for the problem of moving from a certain location to other location. Nowadays, transportation in Indonesia has a significant development in a higher level affected by world transportation technology. The most reliable transportation mode in terms of safetyand punctuality is train transportation. In order to improve quality and customer satisfaction, it is important to integrate seven tools of quality control method, lean thinking and risk management. According to the integration, train manufacturer able todiscover the value of integration in which quality control process has the most contribution value. Further, identification of causes and recommendations for improvement can be determined. Based on the data, it can be seen that the incoming material process has 15,553 defects, 1,189 waste events and having the highest level of risk. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the coordination with suppliers and conduct routine inspection with suppliers.
