Abstract

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) adalah suatu alat yang dapat merekam video dan mengirimkannya melalui media transmisi ke media penyimpanan. CCTV digunakan untuk sistem pengawasan atau monitoring suatu kawasan, yang dirangkai menjadi sebuah jaringan tertutup. Jaringan CCTV di ITS menjadi bagian penting dalam pelayanan keamanan di ITS. Namun terdapat beberapa channel CCTV yang tidak dapat menampilkan rekaman video, sehingga sistem pengawasan tidak berjalan optimal. Maka dilakukan evaluasi untuk mengetahui masalah pada jaringan CCTV di ITS. Dalam mengevaluasi, dilakukan pengamatan dan pencatatan secara sistematis mengenai variabel yang diteliti yaitu lokasi, media transmisi, kondisi ON/OFF serta spesifikasi CCTV. Setelah itu, dilakukan pengukuran kinerja jaringan yaitu bandwidth, throughput dan jitter, dengan memantau trafik data dari client ke kamera CCTV menggunakan software Wireshark. Setelah mendapat hasil evaluasi, dirancang sistem monitoring CCTV ITS berbasis website untuk membantu manajemen jaringan CCTV di ITS. Berdasarkan pengamatan, terdapat 54 CCTV tersebar di seluruh Departemen dan unit kerja di ITS yang terhubung dalam jaringan Local Area Network (LAN) ITS. Melalui pengukuran bandwidth, media transmisi yang sebaiknya digunakan pada layer akses memiliki bandwidth minimal 22.9-55 Mbps dan pada layer distribusi adalah 22.9- 641 Mbps. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran, seluruh CCTV yang menyala (ON) dikategorikan memiliki throughput Sangat Bagus (diatas 1200 Kbps) dan jitter dikategorikan Bagus (diantara 0-75 ms) menurut Telecommunications and Internet Protocol Harmonization Over Network (TIPHON). Serta website yang dirancang mampu menampilkan indikator hijau untuk CCTV menyala dan indikator merah untuk CCTV mati secara realtime. ================================================================================================ Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) is a device that can record video and send it through the media to storage media. CCTV is used for monitoring a region, which is arranged into a closed network. CCTV network is an important part of security services at ITS. But there are several CCTV channels that do not display video recordings, so the monitoring system does not run optimally. Then an evaluation is conducted to find out the problem on CCTV networks in ITS. In evaluating, systematic observation and recording of the variables studied are conducted, which are location, transmission media, ON / OFF conditions and also CCTV specifications. After that measuring network performance, which are bandwidth, throughput and jitter, by monitoring traffic data from the client to the CCTV camera using the Wireshark software. After obtaining the evaluation results, a CCTV monitoring system based on the website was designed to help CCTV network management in ITS. Based on observations, there are 54 CCTV scattered throughout the Department and work units in ITS, that are connected in the ITS Local Area Network (LAN) network. Through the measuring of bandwidth, the transmission media at access layer should have minimum bandwidth about 22.9-55 Mbps and at the distribution layer is 22.9-641 Mbps. Based on the measurement results, all CCTV that are on are categorized as having a Very Good throughput (above 1200 Kbps) and jitter categorized as Good (between 0-75 ms) according to Telecommunications and Internet Protocol Harmonization Over Network (TIPHON). And also the websites that are designed, able to display a green indicator for CCTV which is active, and a red indicator for CCTV which is inactive (realtime).
