Abstract

Berdasarkan data prediksi P2B (Pusat Pengatur Beban) bahwa pada tahun 2018 hingga 2030 pada sistem transmisi 500 kV Jamali (Jawa-Madura-Bali) akan mengalami pertumbuhan beban yang sangat besar dan sistem kelistrikan di Indonesia akan menjadi sangat kompleks dengan adanya penambahan saluran transmisi dan unit generator. Dengan penambahan saluran transmisi dan unit generator pada sistem kelistrikan Jamali dapat sangat rentan terjadinya gangguan seperti ketidakstabilan tegangan, menurunnya kapabilitas transfer daya listrik sistem, kegagalan total pada sistem, dan gangguan lainnya. Maka dari itu diusulkan dengan penggunaan perangkat Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) untuk mengatur ketidakstabilan tegangan, meningkatkan kapabilitas transfer daya listrik sistem, pengaturan daya reaktif, mengurangi biaya pembangkitan yaitu Static VAR Compensator (SVC). SVC merupakan peralatan yang digunakan untuk mengatur kestabilan tegangan bus pada sistem. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) untuk menentukan lokasi penempatan dan kapasitas SVC. Hasil yang diperoleh berupa kestabilan tegangan pada bus tertentu, biaya pembangkitan yang minimum daripada sebelum dipasang perangkat SVC dan biaya instalasi pemasangan perangkat SVC. ================================================================================================ Based on predictive data from P2B (Pusat Pengatur Beban) that in 2018 to 2030, the 500 kV transmission systems of Jamali (Jawa-Madura-Bali) will experience enormous of growth load and the electricity systems in Indonesia will be very large and complex with the addition of transmission lines and generator units. With the addition of transmission lines and generator units in the electricity systems of Jamali can be very susceptible to disturbances such as voltage instability, decreased transmission capability of power electric on the transmission lines, total system failure, and other failures. Therefore, it is proposed to use Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) devices to regulate the voltage instability, improve the power transfer capability of the system, regulate the reactive power, reduced the generation costs, namely Static VAR Compensator (SVC). SVC is a device that is used to regulate the stability of the bus voltage in the system. The method used is Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to determine the location of placement and capacity of SVC. The results obtained in the form of voltage stability on certain buses, minimum generation costs than before the SVC devices were installed and installation cost of SVC device.
