Abstract

Perkembangan zaman semakin pesat, produk produk makanan, minuman dan obat obatan telah mendapatkan sistem produksi yang semakin canggih, tapi terkadang kita tidak memperhatikan bahan dasar apa yang ada didalamnya. Apakah bahan bahannya aman dikonsumsi dan baik untuk kesehatan. Salah satu zat yang sering terkandung dalam makanan, minuman ataupun obat-obatan adalah Alkohol (ethanol). Pada tugas Akhir ini kami membuat suatu alat untuk medeteksi kandungan kadar alkohol dari suatu produk (makanan, minuman atau obat-obatan), dengan menggunakan modul sensor MQ3 dan juga MQ135 (sebagai pembanding) yang dijalankan pada sebuah board Arduino Uno sebagai Microcontroller nya. Kami mengumpulkan data dengan melakukan pengetesan pada 11 macam kadar Alkohol yang didapatkan dari proses pengenceran Ethanol teknis (96%) dan juga memperhitungkan kondisi kelembapan udara dan temperatur ruangan saat pengetesan. Dari hasil uji coba yang telah dilakukan, dihasilkan bahwa alat ini mampu memprediksi kandungan kadar alkohol dari suatu produk (makanan, minuman dan obat-obatan) dengan hasil mendekati sesuai dengan label yang tertera pada kemasan. ================================================================================================ Current development is increasing rapidly, food products, beverages and medicines have obtained increasingly sophisticated production systems, but sometimes we do not pay attention to the basic ingredients in them. Is the ingredient safe for consumption and good for health. One substance that is often contained in food, drinks or drugs is alcohol (ethanol). In this Final Project we make a tool to detect the alcohol content of a product (food, drink or medicine), using the MQ3 sensor module and also MQ135 (as a comparison) which is run on an Arduino Uno board as its Microcontroller. We collected data by testing 11 alcoholic levels obtained from the technical Ethanol dilution process (96%) and also taking into account the conditions of air humidity and room temperature during testing. From the results of the trials that have been conducted, it is produced that this tool is able to predict the content of alcohol of a product (food, drinks and drugs) with the results approaching in accordance with the label printed on the packaging.
