Abstract

Indonesia memiliki daerah aliran sungai yang sangat panjang. Pulau Jawa
histogram warna, histogram intersection, Hue Saturation Value (HSV), Color
Difference Histogram (CDH) dan Color Co-occurrence Matrix (CCM). Daerah

Indonesia has a very long river basin. Java Island with Bengawan Solo River which has a length of 600 km. Tropical climate in Indonesia makes this river flooded seasonally at a certain point. Losses each year have become subscriptions in the area through the river. Watershed floods are caused by two things, natural and human factors. Natural factors such as soil types become one of the important parameters in the duration of water absorption when floods occur. In this study, the study developed the performance of color-based features for the introduction of soil types on satellite imagery. By segmenting the imagery using Kmeans Clustering to separate the watershed into areas of water, vegetation and soil. In each segmented region, color extracting is performed using color histogram method, intersection histogram, Hue Saturation Value (HSV), Color Difference Histogram (CDH) and Color Co-occurrence Matrix (CCM). The land area is classified K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN) for each feature extraction method. With a view to searching, the most appropriate method of performing color-based feature extraction on satellite imagery. Based on the results of the performance test, it can be seen that the best method to extract the color feature is the HSV space histogram method with a matching yield of 26%. Known soil types will be a new consideration in the research of river basin flood modeling systems to obtain more accurate results.
