Abstract

Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) merupakan perguruan tinggi di Indonesia yang telah menerapkan program eco campus. Program ITS Smart Eco Campus merupakan salah satu bagian dari perencanaan strategis ITS dalam mewujudkan kampus yang peduli dan berbudaya lingkungan dengan melakukan pengelolaan lingkungan secara sistematis, berkelanjutan dan berkesinambungan dengan berpedoman pada Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari pengaruh pengetahuan terhadap minat mahasiswa, motivasi terhadap minat mahasiswa dan keterlibatan terhadap minat mahasiswa, serta pengaruh simultan antara pengetahuan, motivasi dan keterlibatan terhadap minat mahasiswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa ITS. Sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah 393 mahasiswa kampus ITS Sukolilo, sesuai dengan rumus Slovin, didapatkan 12 departemen dan 8 fakutas, dari 38 departemen dan 10 fakultas yang ada. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan analisis regresi linier berganda. Program penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan berpengaruh positif terhadap minat mahasiswa dalam program ITS Smart Eco Campus; motivasi berpengaruh positif terhadap minat mahasiswa dalam program ITS Smart Eco Campus; keterlibatan berpengaruh positif terhadap minat mahasiswa dalam program ITS Smart Eco Campus; serta pengetahuan, motivasi dan keterlibatan secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap minat mahasiswa dalam program ITS Smart Eco Campus.

Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) is a university in Indonesia
that has implemented eco campus programs. The ITS Smart Eco Campus program
is one part of ITS's strategic planning in realizing a caring and environmental
friendly campus by carrying out environmental management in a systematic,
continuity and sustainable manner based on the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi.
The purpose of this research is to study the effect of knowledge on student
interest, motivation on student interest and involvement in student interest, as well
as the simultaneous influence of knowledge, motivation and involvement in
student interest. The population in this study is ITS students. While the research
samples are 393 ITS Sukolilo campus students, according to the Slovin formula,
resulted 12 departments and 8 faculties, from 38 departments and 10 faculties.
Data analysis in this study is carried out by multiple linear regression analysis.
The research program shows that knowledge shows positive effect towards
student interest in the ITS Smart Eco Campus program; motivation gives positive
effect towards student interest in the ITS Smart Eco Campus program;
involvement gives positive effect for student interest in the ITS Smart Eco Campus
program; and knowledge, motivation and involvement simultaneously influence
student interest in the ITS Smart Eco Campus program.
