Abstract

Beberapa faktor penyebab terjadinya kerusakan dini pada sistem perkerasan lentur di Indonesia disinyalir disebabkan oleh beberapa hal diantaranya adalah persamaan Equvalen axle load (EAL) yang tidak sesuai dengan keadaan di Indonesia dimana sebagian besar kendaraan berat mengangkut beban berlebih (overloaded). Besarnya nilai EAL yang di dasarkan pada teori deformasi permanen pada perkerasan lentur sangat tergantung pada besarnya nilai modulus elastisitas (E) struktur perkerasan jalan, rengangan vertical (εz), dan lendutan (d) tepat di bawah ban dengan beban dan tekanan ban (q) tertentu. Dengan melakukan pengujian nilai lendutan pada perkerasan lentur sebelum dan setelah perkerasan diberi lapis tambahan (overlay) di duga akan berpengaruh terhadap persamaan EAL.
Pengujian lendutan perkerasan jalan dilakukan pada saat sebelum dan setelah perkerasan lentur diberi lapis tambahan (overlay). Pelaksanaan pengujian dilakukan menggunakan alat Falling Weight Defflectometer (FWD) dengan berbagai variasi pembebanan. Data-data hasil pengujian yaitu nilai lendutan (d), modulus elastisitas (E) dan regangan vertikal (εz) selanjutnya dianalisis untuk mendapatkan bentuk persamaan EAL. Metode analisis yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan bentuk persamaan EAL adalah analisis regresi linear dan non linear.Berdasarkan hasil analisis maka akan diperoleh bentuk persamaan EAL baru.
Dari analisis penelitian diperloleh nilai pangkat power untuk penerapan aturan batas muatan secara maksimal adalah sebagai berikut EAL= (p/8.16)^5.18 sebelum overlay untuk jenis as SADW dan EAL= (p/8.16)^4.63 setelah overlay untuk jenis as SADW. Sedangkan untuk jenis as TADW EAL= (p/13.76)^5.22 sebelum oberlay dan EAL= (p/13.76)^4.55 setelah overlay.

Some of the factors that cause premature damage to the flexible pavement system in Indonesia was allegedly caused by several things including the equation Equvalen axle load (EAL) that are not in accordance with the situation in Indonesia, where the majority of heavy vehicles carrying excess load (overloaded).The value of EAL which is based on the theory of permanent deformation in flexible pavement is highly dependent on the value of the modulus of elasticity (E) the structure of the pavement, vertical strain (εz), and the deflection (d) right under the tire load and tire pressure (q) certain. By testing the value of a deflection in flexible pavement before and after a given pavement overlay in the suspect will affect the equation EAL.
Pavement deflection testing was done at the time before and after a given flexible pavement overlay. Implementation of the testing was done using a Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) with a variety of loading. The data of test results that the value of the deflection (d), the modulus of elasticity (E) and vertical strain (εz) further analyzed to obtain equation form EAL. The analytical method used to obtain the form EAL equation is linear regression analysis and non linear. Based on the analysis results will be obtained form the new EAL equation.
From the research analysis it is obtained that the power rank value for applying the maximum load limit regulation shall be as follows EAL = (p/8.16)^5.18before overlay to the type single axle dual wheel (SADW) and EAL = .(p/8.16)^4.63after overlay to the type single axle dual wheel (SADW). As for the type tandem axle dual wheel (TADW) EAL =(p/13.76)^5.22 before overlay and EAL = (p/13.76)^4.55 after overlay.
