Abstract

Pembangunan infrastruktur tidak dapat dipisahkan akan kebutuhan semen, namun pendistribusian semen sering menjadi terhambat di wilayah yang penduduknya rendah dengan potensi pasar yang lemah, serta keterbatasan alat pengangkut, keterbatasan alat bongkar muat, dan alat pengemasan semen. Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki sistem distribusi semen untuk wilayah Kabupaten Merauke, dengan merancang kapal pengangkut dan pengemasan semen. Perancangan kapal dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode optimasi guna mendapatkan ukuran utama kapal dengan memperhatikan minimum unit cost. Ukuran utama kapal didapat adalah LPP:73,1 m, B:13 m, H:6,7 m,dan T:5,45 m, dengan biaya total persatuan unit sejumlah Rp 684,233 /ton dan mesin pengemas dengan produktifitas mengemas sebesar 8 bag per menit. ================================================================================================ Infrastructure development cannot be separated from the need of cement, but the distribution of cement often becomes hampered in areas with low population and low market potential, as well as limited transportation equipment, loading and unloading equipment, and cement packaging equipment. This Final Project aims to improve the cement distribution system of the Merauke region, by designing cement carriers and packaging vessel. The design of the vessel is done by using an optimization method to obtain the main dimention of the vessel by considering the minimum unit cost. The main dimention of the vessel that has been obtained are LPP: 73.1 m, B: 13 m, H: 6.7 m, and T: 5.45 m, with the total unit unit cost of Rp 684,233/ton and packaging machines with packing productivity of 8 bag per minute
