Abstract

Energi gelombang merupakan salah satu energi terbarukan yang berpotensi dan banyak dikembangkan. Wave Energy converters (WECs) merupakan sebutan alat pengkonversi energi gelombang laut pada umumnya. Di Indonesia juga sedang dikembangkan WECs menggunakan sistem pendulum atau disebut sebagai pembangkit listrik tenaga gelombang laut sistem bandul (PLTGL-SB). Bentuk ponton yang diteliti adalah ponton trimaran yang terdiri dari silinder besar ditengah dan terdapat dua buah jukung disebelah kanan dan kiri. Pada penelitian kali ini dilakukan simulasi ponton dengan multi pendulum yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui gerak ponton dan simpangan maksimal pendulum tersebut. Dari simulasi yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan nilai respon amplitudo operator arah roll maksimum 0.6250. Untuk nilai simpangan maksimum pendulum berada pada periode 0.8 detik dan amplitudo 1.75 cm. Sedangkan untuk nilai simpangan variasi jumlah pendulum pada satu pendulum sebesar 43.970, dua pendulum 39.3110, dan tiga pendulum 33.8220

One of renewable energy that potentially and being developed is wave energy. Wave energy converter (WECs) is tool for convert wave energy in general. In Indonesia also developed WECs using pendulum system. This type of WECs is called the pendulum system marine wave power station. In this research, the writer studies the trimaran pontoon with large cylinder in the center and two canoe on its left and right side. The writer did a simulation to learn the multiple pendulum pontoon motion and its amplitude created by the pontoon. From the simulation, the result obtained respon amplitude operator for roll motion is 0.6250. For the maximum amplitude of pendulum are on wave amplitude 1.75 cm and periode 0.8 sekon. While, the maximum value for pendulum multiple variation are 43.970 for 1 pendulum, 39.3110 for double pendulum and 33.8220 for triple pendulum.
