Abstract

Penanganan Kargo adalah masalah besar di pelabuhan. Masalah ini dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor seperti kurangnya armada truk selama proses penanganan, serta kurangnya daerah manuver truk di Gudang yang semakin sempit. PT. Krakatau Bandar Samudera saat ini sedang mempersiapkan Integrated Warehouse (IWH) dan Continuous Ship Unloader yang akan dapat meningkatkan kapasitas pelabuhan dan memotong waktu proses penanganan ke Gudang yang biasanya dilakukan dengan menggunakan truk yang nantinya akan diganti dengan menggunakan conveyor yang terhubung langsung ke IWH. Keterlambatan waktu penanganan kargo yang diperoleh dari data penanganan kargo pada 2017 dan 2018 sebagian besar disebabkan oleh ship unloader delay dan truck delay. Simulasi kejadian diskrit digunakan dalam mensimulasikan model dari operasi kompleks dengan transportasi multimoda. Simulasi diuji menggunakan perangkat lunak ARENA. Menggunakan Continuous Ship Unloader dan konveyor yang terhubung langsung ke gudang dapat meningkatkan discharging rate 330 - 332% dari discharging rate dalam kondisi yang ada dan mengurangi waktu tunggu kargo sebesar 483% dan jumlah kargo yang menunggu sebesar 208%. Model dipertimbangkan dan BCR dinilai. Dengan demikian, Skenario 1 akan optimal karena memiliki BCR lebih besar dibandingkan dengan model lain dengan 1.52

Cargo Handling is a big problem at the port. This problem can be caused by
several factors such as the lack of truck fleets during the handling process, as well
as the lack of truck maneuvering areas in the Warehouse which are increasingly
narrow. PT. Krakatau Bandar Samudera is currently preparing an integrated
warehouse (IWH) and Continuous Ship Unloader which will be able to increase
the port capacity and cut the handling process time to the Warehouse which is
usually carried out using trucks which will be replaced by using a conveyor that
is directly connected to IWH. Delay in cargo handling time obtained from cargo
handling data in 2017 and 2018 is mostly caused by ship unloaders delay and
trucks delay. Discrete event simulation is used in simulate a model from complex
operation with multimodal transportation. The simulation tested using ARENA
software. Using Continuous Ship Unloader and the conveyor that is directly
connected to the warehouse can increase the discharging rate by 330 - 332% from
the discharging rate in existing condition and reduce the waiting time cargo by
483% and the number of waiting cargo by 208%. Model was considered and the
BCR was assessed. Thus, Scenario 1 would be optimal because it has the larger
BCR compared to other models with 1.52
