Abstract
Digital Signage adalah salah satu teknologi informasi digital yang ten-gah berkembang di Indonesia. Namun, perkembangannya masih cenderung lambat jika dibandingkan dengan negara-negara maju lainnya. Hal ini disebabkan oleh masih cukup kurang terjangkaunya harga perangkat digital signage. Oleh sebab itu, dirancanglah sebuah program digital signage pada single board computer dengan berbagai pilihan layout yang tersedia untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Pro-gram digital signage ini dirancang untuk mampu menampilkan infor-masi berupa gambar, video dan teks berjalan agar dapat menggantikan kemampuan digital signage yang sudah ada secara lebih efisien dan rendah biaya. Setelah melakukan pengujian dan perbandingan perfor-ma, diketahui bahwa ukuran gambar dan video yang ditampilkan san-gat mempengaruhi performa digital signage. Hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan untuk menemukan spesifikasi minimal perangkat sin-gle board computer yang ideal untuk digunakan sebagai perangkat digital signage.

Digital Signage is one of the emerging digital information technolo-
gies in Indonesia. However, its development are tends to be slow,
compared to other developed countries. This is happened due to the
high price of digital signage devices. Therefore, a digital signage
program is designed on a single board computer with a variety o f
layout options available to solve the problem. This digital signage
program is designed to be able to display information in the media of
images, video and running text in order to replace the existing digital
signage more efficiently with low-cost. The program has been tested
to find the minimum specifications of the single computer board
which is ideal for use as a digital signage device.
