Abstract

Treadmill Workout atau olahraga menggunakan Treadmill adalah salah satu jenis olahraga yang dapat melatih otot jantung (Cardio) karena mengaplikasikan gerakan jalan, jalan cepat dan berlari. Ketika melakukan olahraga ini, detak jantung sebaiknya dijadikan indikator untuk melakukan exercise. Pada Treadmill konvensional sudah terdapat sensor detak jantung untuk menentukan berapa detak jantung pengguna Treadmill, namun data sensor tersebut tidak digunakan sebagai pengaturan kecepatan pada Treadmill melainkan hanya untuk mengetahui berapa detak jantung penggunannya saat sedang melakukan olahraga Treadmill saja. Dengan dikembangkannya sensor PPG pada Smartwatch yang digabungkan dengan Treadmill maka akan didapat kontrol kecepatan otomatis berdasarkan data detak jantung pengguna. Hasilnya dengan pengembangan alat ini, pengguna Treadmill dapat mencapai target olahraga yang diinginkan.

Treadmill Workout or exercise using a Treadmill is one type of exercise that can train the heart muscle (Cardio) because it applies road movements, brisk walking and running. When doing this exercise, heart rate should be used as an indicator for exercise. On a conventional Treadmill there is a heart rate sensor to determine the
heart rate of a Treadmill user, but the sensor data is not used as a speed setting on the Treadmill, but only to find out how much the heartbeat is when doing a Treadmill. With the development of the PPG sensor on the Smartwatch combined with the Treadmill, automatic speed control will be based on the user’s heart rate data.
As a result, with the development of this device, Treadmill users can achieve the desired excercise target.
