Abstract

Keputusan dalam pengiriman permintaan untuk konsumen telah menjadi pertimbangan strategis maupun taktis oleh berbagai Perusahaan, termasuk perusahaan food and beverage seperti Air Minum Dalam Kemasan (AMDK). Dalam kasus AMDK ini, jumlah pelanggan menyebar di seluruh wilayah Surabaya dengan jumlah permintaan dan penjadwalan pengiriman yang tidak rata. Terdapat empat wilayah yang tersebar di Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan 98 sample dari wilayah Surabaya Barat. Pendistribusian AMDK dilakukan oleh 7 armada truk yang disediakan untuk wilayah tersebut. Truk terdiri dari sebagian besar sewa dan sebagian lainnya milik Perusahaan sendiri.
Proses penentuan rute akan menghasilkan rute pendistribusian terpendek ke tiap-tiap pelanggan dengan mempertimbangkan permintaan tiap-tiap pelanggan, kapasitas armada truk, jarak tempuh dari depo ke pelanggan, serta jarak tempuh antar pelanggan. Dengan penentuan rute terpendek maka akan didapatkan total biaya minimum. Adanya perbedaan kapasitas dan biaya tiap armada truk menandakan permasalahan ini termasuk dalam Heterogeneous vehicle routing problem (HVRP).
Penelitian ini menggunakan Firefly Algorithm dengan fungsi tujuan meminimumkan total biaya pengiriman dan nilai deviasi jarak tempuh antar kendaraan yang terpakai. Firefly Algorithm mampu mengurangi total biaya 1,15%, yaitu sebesar Rp. 6.560.000 dan nilai deviasi jarak tempuh sebesar 3,6 km.

Decisions on the delivery of customers’ demands is a part of strategic as well as tactical consideration of many companies, including those in food and beverage sector such as packaged drinking water (PDW). In this case of PDW, the customers are spread to all around Surabaya with uneven distribution of demand and delivery scheduling. There are four regions spread in Surabaya. This study uses 98 samples from the area of West Surabaya. Distribution of PDW is carried out using 7 trucks provided for the area. Most of the trucks are rented while the rest are owned by the company.
The process of route determination creates the shortest route of distribution to each customer by considering their respective demand, truck capacity, mileage between depots to customers and mileage between the customers. After determining the shortest route, the minimum total cost will be obtained. The vehicles used for the distribution process are also categorized based on the maximum load capacity. The different capacitiy and costs of each truck indicates that this problem is included in Heterogeneous vehicle routing problem (HVRP).
This study applied Firefly Algorithm with objective function to minimize the total cost and minimize mileage deviation of each vehicle used. Firefly Algorithm can reduce a minimum total cost of 1,15% which is Rp. 6.560.000 and 3,6 km for deviation of distance.
