Abstract

Toko Indah Bordir merupakan salah satu usaha UKM Sidoarjo yang berdiri dari 1963 – sekarang. Usaha UKM Indah Bordir adalah usaha ekonomi produktif bordir yang berdiri sendiri, yang dilakukan oleh perorangan atau badan usaha yang berawal dari UD. Indah Bordir yang bukan anak perusahaan, dikuasi atau menjadi bagian baik langsung maupun tidak langsung dari usaha menengah UU No. 20 tahun 2008.
Bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan melestarikan bordir di Jawa Timur, ibu Hasanah seorang pengrajin bordir asal Tanggulangin Sidoarjo, yang juga mempunyai perusahaan di bidang produksi bordir bernama PT Hasta Indah Bordir. Berinisiatif membangun sebuah toko khusus bordir di kota Sidoarjo yang dinamai toko Indah Bordir , di buka pada tahun 1998. Toko Indah Bordir dulunya merupakan butik bordir yang hanya memiliki sedikit koleksi. Di toko bordir juga terdapat mini galeri yang mempunyai koleksi bordir lagkah dari 16 kabupaten Jawa Timur, serta toko Indah Bordir menjual kain dan pakaian hasil bordir untuk pria dan wanita.
Perancangan desain interior pada objek tugas akhir ini menerapkan konsep yang mengusung ciri khas budaya Jawa Timur, diantaranya adalah pada penggunaan ukiran yang berasal dari tranformasi bordir mawar, serta material batu bata yang terinspirasi dari material ciri khas candi yang ada di Jawa Timur.
Penggunaan elemen-elemen interior tersebut digunakan untuk menghadirkan suasana kesan etnik Jawa Timur di dalam keseluruhan ruangan , serta sebagaiikon identitas dari toko Indah Bordir. Seiring perkembangan jaman yang serba mengikuti trend pada masyakat perkotaan, salah satunya kota Sidoarjo, maka gaya interior kontemporer juga dipadukan dalam konsep perancangan ini. Penggabungan konsep kontemporer dengan langgam Jawa Timur digunakan dengan tujuan sebagai penarik minat msyarakat yang menuntut kebutuhan akan ruangan yang nyaman, serta mewakili gaya hidup masa kini yang cenderung menginginkan sesuatu yang unik dan menarik, baik bagi kalangan dewasa maupun anak muda. Dengan tujuan agar meningkatnya antusias ketika berbelanja di toko Indah Bordur dan segala hal yang berhunungan dengan batik, sebagai warisan budaya Indonsia yang mempunyai nilai seni tinggi.

embroidery, carried out by individuals or business entities originating from UD. Indah Bordir
which is not a subsidiary, is controlled or becomes part of either direct or indirect business of
medium-sized businesses. 20 of 2008.
Aims to develop and preserve embroidery in East Java, the mother of Hasanah, an
embroidery craftsman from Tanggulangin Sidoarjo, who also has a company in the field of
embroidery production called PT Hasta Indah Bordir. Initiated to build a special embroidery
shop in the city of Sidoarjo, named the Indah Bordir shop, opened in 1998. Toko Indah Bordir
provides an embroidery shop that has only a few collections. At the embroidery shop there is
also a mini shop that has a collection of embroidery from 16 regencies in East Java, as well as
a shop for Indah Bordir that sells embroidery cloth and clothing for men and women.
The design of the interior design on this final object applies a concept that carries the
distinctive characteristics of East Java culture, which was agreed on the use of carvings
originating from the embroidery of rose, as well as brick materials inspired by the typical
temple material in East Java.
The use of these interior elements is used to present the East Javanese atmosphere
throughout the room, as well as the identity of the Indah Bordir store. Along with the
development that follows the trend in urban communities, one of which is the city of Sidoarjo,
the contemporary interior style is also integrated into this design concept. The incorporation of
contemporary concepts with East Javanese style is used with the aim of attracting people who
need comfortable rooms, also representing today's lifestyles that require something unique and
interesting, both for adults and young children. With the aim of making it fun, compiling in the
Indah Bordur store and everything related to batik, as Indonesian cultural heritage that has high
artistic value.
