Abstract

Kabupaten Sidoarjo memiliki jumlah penduduk yang cukup padat dengan permasalahan transportasi yang kompleks. Salah satunya adalah kemacetan pada ruas jalan dan ketidak teraturan pada simpang tak bersinyal yang terletak di Jl. Raya Berbek – Jl. Wadung Asri – Jl. Gedong Masjid, Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Simpang tersebut dekat dengan area komersil pada sekitar bahu jalan, pasar yang berlokasi di dekat U-turn, dan pengaturan simpang tersebut menggunakan tenaga manusia. Permasalahan, bagaimana kinerja lalu lintas pada lokasi studi tahun 2018 dan 2023.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam pengambilan data adalah pengamatan dan pencatatan hasil pengamatan. Analisis dalam penelitian sebegai bentuk pengolahan serta penyelesaian data mengacu pada Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) tahun 1997 untuk mengetahui tingkat pelayanan ruas jalan dan simpang tak bersinyal, serta mengevaluasinya menjadi simpang bersinyal.

Hasil analisa kinerja ruas jalan eksisting menunjukkan DS = 0,57 dengan LOS C dan simpang tak bersinyal dengan LOS F dan tundaan simpang 30,64 det/smp. Perbaikan menjadi simpang bersinyal dengan bantuan program KAJI didapat LOS E dengan mean number of stops 0,75 , panjang antrian sepanjang 157 meter untuk pendekat selatan, dan tundaan simpang 43,55 det/smp. Hasil perbaikan tersebut didapat dari pengaturan lampu lalu-lintas dengan cycle time 120 detik serta dengan pengaturan lebar lajur lalu-lintas untuk masing-masing pendekat. Selain itu diperlukan juga pelebaran dengan box culvert pada Jl. Gedong Masjid yang mulanya 4,21 meter menjadi 7,20 meter sepanjang 43 meter dapat membantu meningkatkan kinerja simpang tersebut.

Sidoarjo has population which is quite dense with complex transportation issues. That intersection close to the comercial area, market that located near the U-turn, and that arrange by human power.
Concerns, how is the performance of the traffic on it from 2018 to 2023.

Research methods that used in data taking is the observation and recording of the observation result. Analysis in the research as a form of processing and the completion of the data refers to the Indonesia's Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) in 1997 to find out the level of service roads and unsignals intersection, as well as evaluate became signals intersection..
