Abstract

Trend teknologi yang dikembangkan saat ini berfokus pada peningkatan fungsional sebagai alat transportasi, peningkatan experience berkendara yang lebih nyaman dan bervariasi, serta menciptakan alat trasnportasi yang lebih sustainable terhadap lingkungan. Electric vehicle (EV) dinilai sebagai solusi alat transportasi yang dapat mengurangi dampak kerusakan lingkungan akibat polusi. Namun kenyataanya sampai saat ini belum ditemukan teknologi battrai yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan transportasi umum. Munculah alternatif lain yaitu dengan teknologi Hybrid. Mesin listrik dapat mengurangi pembuangan emisi kendaraan dan engine dapat menggantikan dan menyupply kebutuhan motor listrik agar kendaraan dapat berjalan tanpa terkendala kekurangan energy.
Tujuan dari perancangan ini adalah untuk menciptakan Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) sebagai alat transportasi umum yang sesuai dengan kondisi medan dan budaya manusia di kota Surabaya. Perancangan di Skenariokan untuk pemerintah kota Surabaya yang menargetkan untuk melakukan peremajaan angkot sebagai salah satu system Surabaya mass integrated rapid transit untuk memfasilitasi meningkatnya aktivitas di perkotaan besar di Indonesia yang sedang pada masa puncak bomb populasi.

The trend of transportation technology focuses on functional as transportation,
enhancing driving experience that more comfortable and varied, and create more
sustainable transportation for the environment. Electric vehicle (EV) is considered
as a transportation solution that can reduce the impact of environmental issue due
to air pollution. But the fact is, until now there has not been found battery
technology that can cover public transportation needs. Another emerging
alternative is Hybrid technology. Electric motor can reduce vehicle emissions and
the engine can replace and supply the needs of electric motors so that the vehicle
can run without constrained energy shortages.
The purpose of this design thesis is to create a Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) as a
public transportation that is in accordance with the terrain and human culture
conditions in the city of Surabaya. Design take place for 2030 is where Surabaya
city government is targeting to redesign feeder run one of Surabaya Mass Integrated
Rapid Transit system to facilitate increased activity in large cities in Indonesia
which are at the peak of the population.
