Abstract

Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta memiliki arah kebijiakan pembangunan pada 5 tahun ke depan untuk menyongsong kualitas hidup masyarakat wilayah selatan dengan peningkatan sarana, prasarana, dan aksesbilitas salah satunya yaitu rencana pembangunan bandara baru pengganti Bandara Adisucipto yang memiliki kapasitas 1,2 juta penumpang pertahun. Sejak tahun 2011, mengalami over capacity hingga mencapai 4 juta penumpang pertahun. Menteri Perhubungan memutuskan untuk memindah bandar udara baru ke Kabupaten Kulonprogo yang diperkirakan dapat melayani 10 juta penumpang pertahunnya. Pembangunan bandara baru ini memiliki juga moda transportasi baru yakni kereta bandara sebagai alternatif moda. Namun platform kereta yang digunakan harus menyesuaikan dengan infrastruktur yang tersedia. Mayoritas daerah Yogyakarta menggunakan KRD sebagai platform sehari-hari dan perlu riset lebih lanjut untuk mengakomodasi penumpang kereta bandara. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk mendesain dan mempelajari moda transportasi kereta bandara yang menyesuaikan kebutuhan karakteristik penumpang dari pusat kota ke bandara maupun sebaliknya. Metode riset yang digunakan berdasarkan tahapan mengkonsep desain transportasi antara lain : product planning, design requirement & objective, conceptual design, preliminary design hingga final design. Fokusan yang berupa konsep dengan pendekatan kesan tentang Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dimana desain eksterior terinspirasi pada kebudayaan Yogyakarta dan perasaan hangat serta nyaman pada bagian interior kereta. Hasil akhir dari perancangan ini berupa laporan, portofolio, gambar teknik, gambar presentasi dan model berskala. ================================================================================================
The Special Region of Yogyakarta has a development policy direction in the next 5 years to meet the quality of life of the southern region by increasing facilities, infrastructure and accessibility, one of which is the plan to build a new airport in lieu of Adisucipto Airport which has a capacity of 1.2 million passengers per year. Since 2011, it has experienced over capacity of up to 4 million passengers per year. The Minister of Transportation decided to move the new airport to Kulonprogo Regency which is estimated to be able to serve 10 million passengers per year. The construction of this new airport also has new modes of transportation, namely airport trains as an alternative mode. But the train platform used must adjust to the available infrastructure. The majority of the Yogyakarta area uses the KRD as a daily platform and needs further research to accommodate airport train passengers. This design aims to design and study airport train transportation modes that adjust the characteristic needs of passengers from the city center to the airport and vice versa. The research method used is based on the stages of conceptualizing transportation design, including: product planning, design requirements & objective, conceptual design, preliminary design to final design. Fokusan in the form of a concept with an impression approach about the Yogyakarta Special Region where exterior design is inspired by Yogyakarta culture and a warm and comfortable feeling in the interior of the train. The final results of this design are in the form of reports, portfolios, technical drawings, presentation drawings and scale models.
