Abstract

Directional Of Arrival (DOA) dan Directional of Departure (DOD), dan parameter

Alternating Space parameter estimation method Generelized Expectation-
Maximization (SAGE), estimating the parameters subspace consisting of Directional Of
Arrival (DOA) and Directional of Departure (DOD), and temporal parameters consisting
of Delay and Amplitude Complex. SAGE is applied to estimate the parameters of the corner
first and then proceed with the temporal parameters sequentially, this is done to measure
the delay that low-resolution devices.
The simulation results applied to a planar antenna array and linear array antenna,
which is expressed by the method of RMSE. The simulation results show that the
performance of SAGE detect parameters which starts from the point better than the
performance of SAGE that detect parameters which starts from the delay. While the results
of the verification is done by measuring SAGE in New Building Hall PENS using USRP
devices and linear array antenna, in which the estimation results obtained from the
crosscorelasi delay between the received data and the subsequent data sent, there are 3
components of the detected signal caused by the resolution of this case Low devices. In
addition, SAGE is able to identify the direction of departure and arrival directions of the
three components of the signal. Direction of departure and arrival direction which is the
output of SAGE, revalidated use Ray Tracing 2 D which is a picture based on the location
of the measurement signal assessment. Validation results between SAGE and Ray Tracing
output has an error margin of about 36 °.
