Abstract

Salah satu profil baja komposit yang digunakan adalah
baja yang berintikan beton atau Concrete Filled Steel Tube
(CFT). Profil ini telah menunjukkan kinerja structural seperti
kekuatan, kekakuan dan daktilitas yang lebih baik daripada
beton bertulang.Secara konvensional, CFT didesain dari
bentuk tabung baja (steel tube) yang meliputi penampang
berongga persegi, lingkaran, persegi panjang dan elips.
Menurut Penelitian terdahulu, perilaku perubahan beban
aksial kolom sangat dipengaruhi oleh bentuk cross-sectional,
rasio diameter/lebar terhadap ketebalan dari steel tube dan
kekuatan dari beton isi (filled concrete)
Dalam Tugas Akhir ini menganalisa bahwa pada kolom
Concrete Filled Steel Tube (CFT) terdapat perbedaan
kekuatan aksial antara penampang berbentuk lingkaran
dengan persegi. Maka perlu perhatian khusus terhadap
berbagai jenis bentuk cross-sectional pada kolom CFT
terhadap kekuatan aksial yang dapatditerima.
Hasil yang diperoleh dari Tugas Akhir ini dapat diringkas
sebagai berikut : 1) Kolom CFT tipe circular memiliki
kapasitas penampang aksial tekan lebih besar daripada kolom
CFT tipe rectangular; 2) Pemasangan stiffening bars
meningkatkan kekuatan daripada kolom CFT. ========== One of the composite steel that have been used is Concrete
filled Steel Tube (CFT). This profile has shown greater
structural performance such as strength, stiffness, and
dactility than reinforcement concrete. Conventionally, CFT is
designed from steel tube which includes hollowed square,
circle and elips. From the earlier experiment, behavior of
column axial load change is strongly influenced by the crosssectional
shape, the ratio of the diameter / width to the
thickness of the steel tube and the strength of the filled
concrete
In this final project analyzes that there is a difference
between the axial strength of circular cross sectional and
rectangular cross sectional in Concrete Filled Steel Tube
(CFT). Then need special attention to different types of crosssectional
shape on the CFT column to the axial force which
may be accepted.
The results of this final project can be summarized as
follows: 1) the type of circular CFT column has axial strength
capacity greater than the type of rectangular CFT columns; 2)
Installation of stiffening bars is increasing the strength of CFT
column.
