Abstract

Seiring meningkatnya kebutuhan tenaga listrik di Indonesia, diperlukan sebuah inovasi untuk dapat memenuhi kebutuhan akan ketersediaan listrik tersebut, salah satunya adalah dengan Metode pembangkitan listrik terbarukan yaitu rancang siklus Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC). Perancangan ini dilakukan di PT. PJB Paiton Probolinggo, dengan memanfaatkan potensi panas gas buang sebesar 17,33 MW untuk dapat menghasilkan pembangkitan energi listrik sebesar 1 MW. Sistem yang digunakan merupakan sistem dasar Organic Rankine Cycle, meliputi evaporator, turbin uap, kondensor, pompa. Sistem perancangan Organic Rankine Cycle di analisa secara thermodinamika dan difokuskan pada pemilihan pompa serta pemilihan turbin uap yang tepat sesuai dengan sifat - sifat fluida kerja R-12, R-134a, R-152a. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan Nilai efisiensi thermal optimum terletak pada refrigerant R152a sebesar 10%, kemudian pompa yang dipilih adalah pompa centrifugal multistage enam tingkat merk SIHI tipe ZEH 5004 dan turbin uap yang dipilih adalah turbin uap back pressure empat tingkat dengan merk Qingneng tipe N341E. ========= With the increasing power needs in Indonesia, therefore the innovation is need to be made for the availability of electricity, one of the innovation is a method of generating renewable electricity that is the design of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC). The design is completed in PT. PJB Paiton, Probolinggo, by exploiting the potential of exhaust gas heat of 17.33 MW in order to be able to generate electric power supply of 1 MW. The system used is a basic system of Organic Rankine Cycle, including evaporators, steam turbines, condensers, and pumps. Organic Rankine Cycle system is designed by the thermodynamic analysis and focuses on pump selection and appropriate steam turbine in accordance with nature - the nature of work fluid R-12, R-134a, R-152a. From the research results obtained the optimum thermal efficiency value lies in the R152a refrigerant by 10%, and the selected pump is a multistage centrifugal pump brands SIHI six levels of the type ZEH 5004 and the preferred steam turbine is a steam turbine with four levels-back pressure, Qingneng type N341E.
