Abstract

Penggunaan sumber energi yang kurang efisien
menyebabkan terjadinya pemborosan energi. Sektor industri
merupakan penggunaan sumber energi terbesar, sehingga terjadinya
pemborosan energi juga besar. Salah satunya yaitu di PLTU milik
PT. Jawa Power Unit 5. Untuk mengurangi pemborosan energi,
yang harus diminimalkan yaitu heat losses. Heat losses dapat
diketahui dengan melakukan audit energi yang bertujuan
mengetahui peralatan yang mengalami pemborosan energi.
Berdasarkan hasil audit energi dan representasi dengan diagram
sankey pada kondisi beban 100%, jumlah panas yang masuk sebesar
1.939.557,49 kW, unjuk kerja boiler sebesar 1.225.724,66 kW
dengan nilai efisiensi boiler sebesar 63,19%, unjuk kerja turbin uap
sebesar 690.432,22 kW dengan nilai efisiensi 53,92%, unjuk kerja
pompa sebesar 18.667,97 kW dengan nilai efisiensi 33,81%, unjuk
kerja kondenser 341.415,75 kW, dan nilai efisiensi thermal sebesar
34,63%. Pemborosan energi terbesar pada boiler dengan losses
sebesar 713.951,11 kW, losses pada turbin sebesar 26.594,1 kW,
losses pada pompa sebesar 4.013,71 kW. Rekomendasi yang dapat
diterapkan Penambahan air heater didapatkan nilai ekonomis
sebesar Rp. 5.577.365/ jam

The use of energy sources that are less efficient cause
energy waste. The industrial sector is the largest energy source, so
that energy wastage is also great. One of them is in the power plant
owned by PT. Java Power Unit 5. To reduce energy waste, which
must be minimized, namely heat losses. Heat losses can be
determined by performing an energy audit aimed to know the
equipment experiencing energy waste. Based on the results of an
energy audit and representations with Sankey diagram at 100% load
conditions, the amount of heat entering 1.939.557,49 kW boiler
performance with a value of 1.225.724,66 kW boiler efficiency by
63.19%, the performance of the turbine amounting to 690.432,22
kW steam with the efficiency of 53.92%, the performance of
18.667,97 kW pump with an efficiency of 33.81%, the performance
of the condenser 341.415,75 kW, and the value of the thermal
efficiency of 34,63%. Biggest energy waste in boilers with losses
amounting to 713.951,11 kW boiler losses amounted to 26594.1 kW
turbine, the losses amounted to 4013.71 kW pump.
Recommendations that can be applied Additions air heater obtained
the economic value of Rp. 5.577.365/ hour
