Abstract

Komponen sampah di Kabupaten Sidoarjo terbesar adalah
sampah organik, yang berasal dari berbagai sumber misal
sampah pasar, sampah rumah tangga dan kegiatan di jalan.
Kecamatan Tanggulangin merupakan salah satu kecamatan yang
mempunyai sentra industri, yaitu ikan asap, tempe, pembuatan
tas dan jaket, yang menghasilkan sampah dengan jumlah dan
komposisi yang belum diketahui.
Penelitian ini mengukur volume timbulan dan komposisi sampah
organik yang dihasilkan oleh sentra industri yang ada di
Kecamatan Tanggulangin, dengan metode yang digunakan
mengacu pada SNI 19-3964-1995. Hasil jumlah timbulan dan
komposisi sampah akan dianalisis untuk menentukan alternatif
pengolahan yang tepat serta menguntungkan dari segi finansial.
Timbulan sampah yang dihasilkan sentra ikan asap adalah
sebesar 521 kg/hari dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai makanan
ternak. Sampah dari industri tempe sebesar 105,2 kg/hari
direkomendasikan dilakukan pengolahan dengan biogas. Biaya
investasi awal pengolahan biogas adalah sebesar Rp
265.657.648 dengan keuntungan yang didapatkan sebesar Rp
1.135.750 per bulan. Jumlah timbulan sampah yang dihasilkan
oleh sentra tas dan jaket sebesar 332,34 kg/hari yang dapat
didaur ulang sampah dengan hasil yang didapatkan sebesar Rp
36.036.750 perbulan dengan biaya operasional sebesar
7.179.750 per bulan. =========== The largest waste component in Sidoarjo District Area is an
organic waste, which is derived from various sources such as
market waste, household waste and street activities. The District
of Tanggulangin is one of the districts that has industrial areas,
they are smoked fish, soybean (tempe) industry, industry of bag
and jacket making, which produces waste with the unknown
number and composition.
This research measure the generation volume and composition of
organic waste that produced by industrial areas in the District of
Tanggulangin, the method used is based on SNI 19-3964-1995.

2T2Ttreatment2T2T as well as the financially 2T2Tprofitable2T2T.
The Generated waste produced from the smoked fish industries
are 521 kg/day can be used as an animal feed. The waste from
soybean (tempe) industries are 105.2 kg/day is being
recommended to have a biogas processing. Initial investment
cost of biogas processing is IDR 265,657,648 with the gains of
IDR 1,135,750 per month. The amount of waste that produced by
the industry of bag and jacket making is 332.34 Kg/day which can
be recycled with the results obtained are IDR 36,036,750 per
month with operating costs of IDR 7,179,750 per month.
