Abstract

Munculnya taktik penyelamatan sandera yang lebih modern di mana penggunaan peluru konvensional yang membahayakan harus mulai ditinggalkan, maka digunakanlah peluru frangible yang dapat terpecah menjadi fragmen kecil ketika mengenai target yang lebih keras untuk mencegah terjadinya richochet dan backsplash yang dapat melukai penembak maupun orang di sekitar. Sifat mekanik dari peluru frangible ini sangat perlu diperhatikan terutama kekerasan dari peluru. Kekerasan ini sangat berhubungan dengan temperatur sintering pada continuous furnace. Dimana temperatur continuous furnace ini harus homogen untuk mendapatkan kekerasan sampel yang sesuai standar dengan jumlah optimum material yang dapat masuk continuous furnace . Oleh karena itu diperlakukan analisa kerja dari distribusi temperatur. Optimasi continuous furnace dilakukan terhadap banyaknya material yang dapat masuk dengan skema dan posisi tertentu. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan sampel optimum pada skema 6x6 dengan posisi horizontal yang memiliki kekerasan 100,00 HV. =============================================================================================================== The emergence of more modern hostage rescue tactics where the use of conventional bullets that are dangerous must begin to be abandoned, then frangible bullets are used which can be split into small fragments when it comes to harder targets to prevent richochet and backsplash that can injure shooters and people around. The performance of the frangible bullet is very important, especially the hardness of the bullet. This violence is closely related to temperature in continuous furnace. Where the continuous furnace temperature must be homogeneous to get the standard sample hardness with the optimum amount of material that can enter continuous furnace. Therefore it is treated the analysis of work from the temperature distribution. Continuous furnace optimization is done on the amount of material that can enter with certain schemes and positions. From the results of the study it was found that the optimum sample scheme of 6x6 with a horizontal position having a hardness of 100.00 HV.
