Abstract
Kereta api barang adalah salah satu transpotasi yang diminati dan berperan penting dalam mobolitas penduduk. Menurut grafik jumlah barang yang diangkut oleh kereta api di Pulau Jawa, minat masyarakat terhadap jasa transportasi kereta api barang terus meningkat. Tetapi peningkatan dari jumlah barang tidak stabil atau tidak meningkat terus setiap tahunnya masih terdapat penurunan jumlah barang yang diangkut pada tahun tahun tertentu. Komoditi yang diangkut oleh kereta api barang adalah peti kemas, barang curah liquid/cair, barang curah, barang retail, dan barang packaging. Dilakukan peramalan dengan menggunakan metode Regresi Time Series pada data jumlah barang yang diangkut kereta api barang di Pulau Jawa tahun 2006-2018 untuk mengetahui hasil peramalan jumlah barang yang diangkut kereta api barang tetap dalam keadaan tidak stabil atau tidak dan dapat membantu PT Kereta Api Indonesia untuk mengambil kebijakan secara efektif dan efisien. Setelah dilakukan analisis didapatkan model peramalan adalah Yt = 135 + 6,15t.

A cargo railways is one of the transportation that is in demand and plays an important role in the mobility of the population. According to the graph of number of cargo of railways on the island of Java, public interest in freight train services continues to increase. But the increase in the number of goods is not stable or does not increase continuously every year there is still a decrease in the number of goods transported in a given year. Commodities transported by trains are containers, liquid / liquid bulk goods, bulk goods, retail goods, and packaging goods. Forecasting is done by using the Regression Time Series method on data on the number of cargo of railways on the island of Java in 2006-2018 to find out the results of forecasting the number of cargo of railways to remain unstable or not and to help PT Kereta Api Indonesia to take policies effectively and efficiently. After the analysis is done, the forecasting model is obtained Yt = 135 + 6,15t.
