Abstract

Studi ini meneliti pengaruh topologi pemotongan inti transformator
tiga fasa yang berbeda terhadap kurva magnetisasi dan arus inrush.
Topologi pemotongan inti transformator yang diteliti terdiri dari
transformator yang memiliki inti dengan cara potong A yaitu tersusun
dari bentuk I atau persegi panjang dan transformator yang memiliki inti
dengan cara potong B yaitu tersusun dari bentuk yoke-leg-center.
Penelitian pengaruh topologi pemotongan inti transformator terhadap
kurva magnetisasi beserta distribusi medan magnet dilakukan melalui
simulasi Finite-Element Method (FEM) pada titik-titik sambungan
antarpotongan inti. Hasil dari simulasi FEM digunakan untuk mencari
arus inrush masing-masing transformator. Hasil penghitungan arus
inrush dari simulasi kemudian dibandingkan dengan eksperimen
pengukuran arus inrush. Keberadaan fluks sisa menjadi pertimbangan
dalam pengukuran arus inrush, sehingga metode demagnetisasi
digunakan untuk memperoleh arus inrush yang sebenarnya. Berdasarkan
hasil simulasi dan eksperimen diperoleh bahwa topologi pemotongan
inti transformator dapat berpengaruh pada kurva magnetisasi dan arus
inrush. Ini dibuktikan dengan perbedaan kurva magnetisasi dan arus
inrush kedua topologi pemotongan inti transformator.

This study observes core cutting topology of three phase
transformer effect on magnetization curve and inrush current. The
studied topologies consist of core cutting A which is made up by letter I
form or rectangular and core cutting B which is made up by yoke-legcenter.
The study of core cutting topology effect on magnetization curve
and megnetic field is done is researched by Finite-Element Method
(FEM) simulation at the points of connection between the core pieces.
The results of FEM simulation, then, is used to find inrush current of
each transformer. Inrush current results of the simulation are compared
to experimental measurements of inrush currents. The existence of
residual flux or remanent flux is considered in inrush current
measurement, so demagnetization method used to obtain the real inrush
current value. Based on simulation and experimental results obtained
that the topology of the transformer core cutting can affect the
magnetization curves and inrush currents. These are proven by
differences in the magnetization curve and inrush current of both
topology transformer core cutting.
