Abstract

Industri petrokimia merupakan industri berbahan baku utama produk migas. Penelitian ini mengambil studi kasus dari salah satu perusahaan industri petrokimia. Perusahaan memiliki permasalahan mengenai stock administrasi bahan baku curah yang berbeda dengan stock fisik. Hal tersebut mempengaruhi stock opname bahan baku curah di gudang. Salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui penyebab yang disebutkan di atas adalah analisis Bulk Density. Analisis Bulk Density masih menggunakan alat dan metode manual. Hipotesis, adanya perbedaan hasil pada stock opname dapat disebabkan oleh analisis Bulk Density tidak akurat dan tidak konsistennya hasil pengukuran. Jadi penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari faktor operator dan alat termasuk interaksinya terhadap keakurasian analisis Bulk Density dan mengetahui apakah measurement system pada analisis Bulk Density telah acceptable. Pengukuran ini dapat dilakukan dengan Measurement System Analysis menggunakan metode Gauge R&R. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan variabel pengamatan Bulk Density Untamp dan Tamp. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan MSA Gauge R&R, didapatkan sistem pengukuran pada masing-masing variabel belum acceptable. Hal ini dapat diketahui dari nilai percent contribution, percent study variance, dan nilai ndc.

The petrochemical industry is the main raw material industry of oil and gas products. This research is a case study about one of the petrochemical companies. The company has problem in which administration stock of bulk raw material is different from the physical stock. It affects on the stock opname of bulk raw materials in the warehouse. One of methods that can be used to find the cause mentioned above is bulk density analysis. Bulk Density Analysis is still using manual tools and methods. Hypothetically, the difference result which is appear on stock opname can be caused by inaccurate bulk density analysis and inconsistency on measurement results. So, this research aims are to find any affections of operators and tools factor, including their interaction, onto the accuracy of bulk density analysis and to find whether the measurement system of bulk density analysis is acceptable. These measurements can be performed by using the Gauge R & R Measurement System Analysis. This study is conducted by observating Bulk Density Untamp and Tamp variables . Based on Gauge R & R MSA calculations, measurement system on each variables are unacceptable. It can be seen from contribution percentage, study variance percentage, and the NDC value.
