Abstract

Home theater merupakan ruangan yang tidak dirancang
secara khusus untuk memenuhi fungsi ruang speech (pidato) atau
musik saja, tetapi kedua fungsi tersebut. Dalam penelitian,
ruangan yang digunakan terletak di perpustakaan its. Ruangan
tersebut difungsikan untuk home theater multifungsi. Hasil
pengukuran lapangan yang didapatkan, diperoleh nilai waktu
dengung sebesar 0.75-1.19 detik dimana dalam standarnya harus
sebesar 0.3 detik, untuk kriteria bising didapat 40 dB yang mana
standarnya harus 25 dB. Sehingga perlu dilakukan pembuatan
ulang ruangan home theater ini sehingga sesuai dengan standar
yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain dari segi
akustik untuk home theater berupa kriteria kebisingan, insulasi
akustik, waktu dengung serta parameter objektif lain sehingga
desain yang dibuat sesuai dengan standar. Agar memenuhi
standar maka yang harus dilakukan adalah memperbaiki kriteria
bising, insulasi akustik, waktu dengung serta parameter objektif
lain berupa kualitas akustik. Setelah didesain ulang didapat nilai
kriteria bising 25 dB,waktu dengung rata-rata sebesar 0.34 detik.
Sedangkan untuk kualitas akustik, Home theater perpustakaan
ITS memiliki STI sebesar 69 %, %Alcons sebesar 4.11 %, Clarity
C-50 sebesar -1.65 dan C-80 sebesar 0.21 yang sudah sesuai
dengan standar.

Home theater is a room that is not specifically designed
to speech room or music function, but both functions. In this
research, which used the room located in ITS library. The room
functioned for multifunctional home theater. Field measurement
results obtained, the value of reverberation time obtain 0.75-1.19
seconds in which the default must be 0.3 seconds, for noise
criteria obtain 40 dB which the default must be 25 dB. So it is
necessary to rebuild the home theater room is so in accordance
with existing standards. This research purpose to design
acoustical which cover noise criteria,acoustic insulation,
reverberation time and other objective parameters so that the
designs must according to the standards. To according with
standar must be fixed the noise criteria,acoustic insulation,
reverberation time and other objective parameters. After
redesigned obtained valueof criteria noise is 25 dB, the average
reverberation time is 0.34 seconds. whereas for the quality of the
acoustics, Home theater library has a STI ITS 69%,% Alcons at
4.11%, C-50 is -1.65 and C-80 is 0.21 which is in conformity
with the standards.
