Abstract

Biogas merupakan sumber energi terbarukan yang dihasilkan
secara anaerobic digestion atau fermentasi anaerob dari bahan organik
seperti sampah, sisa-sisa makanan. Pemanfaatan limbah organik sebagai
bahan baku biogas tentu akan memberikan efek ganda dalam
menyediakan energi yang dapat diperbaharui. Tujuan dari penelitian ini
adalah mengetahui pengaruh HRT pada 4,7,10 hari terhadap hasil
biogas secara kualitatif, mengetahui pengaruh penambahan proses
pemurnian dan tanpa proses pemurnian terhadap hasil produksi biogas
secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif.
Adapun metode penelitian ini tahap persiapan bahan baku,
tahap proses pembuatan produk antara lain tahapan pertama adalah
limbah cair di masukan ke dalam reaktor fixed dome hingga memenuhi
kapasitas, selanjutnya mengalirkan limbah cair ke dalam reaktor dengan
HRT 4,7,10 hari sesuai dengan debit masing-masing HRT selama 10 hari.
Biogas yang dihasilkan ditampung dalam plastik berbentuk tabung, lalu
volume biogas yang dihasilkan diukur dengan menggunakan gelas ukur.
Penelitian ini menghasilkan volume biogas yang paling tinggi
pada HRT 10 hari dengan volume rata-rata sebesar 370,5 ml dan volume
akumulatif sebesar 19.775 ml. Persen COD removal yang paling tinggi
pada HRT 10 hari sebesar 88,67%. Persen komposisi biogas tanpa
pemurnian adalah 34,15% metana, 16,45% karbon dioksida dan 50,48%
udara, sedangkan pada biogas dengan pemurnian sebesar 25,06%
metana, 0,39% karbon dioksida dan 74,53% udara.

Biogas is a renewable energy source produced by anaerobic
digestion or anaerobic fermentation of organic material such as waste,
leftovers. Utilization of organic waste as biogas feedstock will certainly
provide a double effect in providing renewable energy. The purpose of
this study was to determine the effect of HRT on days 4,7,10 the biogas
yield qualitatively determine the effect of the purification process and
without the purification process of the production of biogas qualitatively
and quantitatively.
The method of this study raw material preparation stage, the
stage of the product manufacturing process, among others, the first stage
is the liquid waste input into the fixed dome reactor to meet the capacity,
then drain the liquid waste into the reactor with HRT 4,7,10 days in
accordance with debit HRT for 10 days. The biogas produced is collected
in a plastic tubular, and the volume of biogas produced was measured by
using a measure glass
This research resulted in the highest biogas in HRT of 10 days
with average volume of 370.5 ml and accumulative volume amounted to
19 775 ml. Percent COD removal highest in HRT of 10 days amounted to
88.67%. Percent composition without purification of biogas are 34.15%
of methane, 16.45% of carbon dioxide and 50.48% of air, while the biogas
with a purification are 25.06% of methane, 0.39% of carbon dioxide and
74.53% of air
