Abstract

Tugboat Adalah Salah Satu Jenis Kapal Yang Berfungsi Untuk Membantu Menarik Kapal Besar Di Area Pelabuhan. Dalam Menjalankan Kerjanya, Tugboat Beroperasi Pada Mode Operasi Yang Berbeda – Beda. Mode Operasi Kerja Tugboat Tersebut Adalah Sebagai Berikut Mode Standby, Mode Cruising, Dan Mode Assisting. Mode Operasi Tugboat Yang Berbeda – Beda Mengakibatkan Konsumsi Bahan Bakar Tidak Optimal. Salah Satu Alternative Untuk Mengatasi Hal Tersebut Adalah Dengan Menggunakan System Tenaga Penggerak Hybrid Atau Hybrid Propulsion System. Hybrid Propulsion System Adalah Konfigurasi Permesinan Dengan Dua Sistem Tenaga Penggerak. Sistem Tenaga Penggerak Hybrid Bekerja Pada Setiap Mode Operasi Dari Tugboat Untuk Mengoptimalkan Kerja Dan Konsumsi Bahan Bakar Penggerak Utama. Hybrid Propulsion System Tersusun Dari 2 Mesin Diesel Dan 2 Motor Listrik. Dengan Menggunakan System Tenaga Penggerak Hybrid Dapat Menghemat Bahan Bakar Hingga 30 % Dari Permesinan Konvensional. ============================================================================================== Tugboat is one types of vessel that has function to assist pull a big ship in port area. In that’s work, tugboat has many differences mode of operation. Operation Mode of tugboat as standby mode, cruising mode, and assisting mode. Cause has differences in mode operation, makes not optimalitation in fuel oil consumption. One alternative to overcome this is to use a hybrid propulsion system. Hybrid propulsion system is machining configuration with two propulsion system. Hybrid propulsion system work in every mode of operation tugboat that give optimalitation work and consumption fuel oil in propulsion system. Hybrid propulsion system consist of 2 diesel mechanical and 2 electricity motor. Hybrid propulsion system give better economical fuel oil consumption until 30 % than konvensional machinery.
