Abstract

Timur tahun 2012 sebesar 64,08%. Tahun 2013 capaian cakupan ASI
Eksklusif di Provinsi Jawa Timur menempati peringkat empat nasional
namun pencapaian ASI Eksklusif di Provinsi Jawa Timur masih
dibawah target nasional pencapaian ASI Eksklusif Indonesia yaitu 75%.
Provinsi Jawa Timur tahun 2013.
Timur.

About 10 million babies dying in developing countries and
approximately 60% of these deaths should be reduced by breastfeeding.
Breast milk is the best natural food for babies because it contains
elements of nutrition a baby needs for optimal growth and development,
especially in the first months. Based on the Health Profile of East Java
Province in 2012 showed that the scope of exclusive breastfeeding in
East Java in 2012 amounted to 64.08%. In 2013 achievements coverage
of exclusive breastfeeding in East Java Province was ranked fourth
nationally but the achievement of exclusive breastfeeding in East Java
Province is still below the national target achievement Indonesian
exclusive breastfeeding is 75%. In this research, modeling the number of
infants getting exclusive breastfeeding with Generalized Poisson
Regression (GPR) in East Java Province in 2013. Results showed that
using GPR method, variables that significantly influence the number of
infants getting exclusive breastfeeding in East Java Province is variable
percentage of community health centers to ideal conditions (X10).
However, the results of modeling in this study was not relevant to
nutrition programs that have been run in the East Java Provincial
Health Office.
